It’s Monday morning and oh boy, my legs are aching bad!
On Saturday, we hosted the Gosfield Fete from noon until 11pm, making all the continuity announcements and presenting the arena entertainers, whilst playing some classic 80s pop, rock and soul. In the evening, we provided fill-in between two fantastic live acts, The Black Caps (superb authentic rock n roll band) and The Indie 500s (non stop Britpop and hands-in-the-air festival favourites)
Even the downpour at 10pm couldn’t dampen the spirits of the hundreds of revellers in the park.

This is the reason we do what we do.

Fantastic news!
The 80s Mix Tape is back for the Gosfield Fete 2022!
After the huge success of 2021’s Party In The Park in Gosfield, we’re finally allowed to host the full fete on 2nd July. I’ll be compering the day as well as playing the best 80s anthems between the live bands.

Can’t wait!

It’s fabulous when a plan comes together!

Last night I combined two of my businesses to create an awesome night out for 170 people!
We started with an 80s v 90s themed quiz show and we ended with two hours of great tunes (admittedly the client wanted a sprinkling of 90s, but I’m ok with that!)
A huge thank you to all those who came dressed for the occasion and congrats to the winning quiz team too!

They’ll be some sore heads this morning!

Yesterday, we took the 80s Mix Tape for its first outdoor adventure!
We hosted a Party In The Park for the village of Gosfield in Essex. Playing alongside us were two solo singers and a terrific covers band. Over 400 people attended the festival-like event, and they stayed late into the evening dancing to the band and of course our brilliant 80s selection of top tunes!
We used our own PA and lighting systems for all the acts too, so it looked and sounded very impressive indeed!

We are very proud to support this year's Gosfield Fete, providing our awesome 80s sounds and lights and sharing the stage with some great live music too!
The Gosfield Fete is usually a huge carnival and fete that takes place in July, and regularly attracts hundreds of people...but for the last two years they've been unable to host the event due to lockdowns, so this year it was decided to put on an outdoor party instead, lifting spirits after the past 19 months of hibernating and isolating.
We can't wait to be there!

Very pleased to announce our 80s Mix Tape Show is back at the Traitors Gate pub in Broadway, Grays on 24th September. Admission is free, come along, let down that soft bubble perm and clean up those LA Gear trainers…we’re gonna have some long overdue 80s fun!
