17वी शताब्दी में जब साहिबजादा जोरावर सिंह जी, साहिबजादा फतेह सिंह जी और माता गुजरी जी सरहिंद के नवाब की कैद में थे और उनको अनगिनत त्सीहे दिए जा रहे थे - धर्म परिवर्तन के लिए प्रोलोभन दिए जा रहे थे उस समय महान शहीद मोती राम मेहरा जी जो नवाब के अंतर्गत कार्य कर रहे थे उनके द्वारा पहरेदारों को रिश्वत दे कर भी साहिबजादों और माता जी के लिए गर्म दूध की व्यवस्था कर रहे थे और जब नवाब तक यह खबर पहुंची तो उसने मोती राम मेहरा जी, उनकी धर्मपत्नी, उनके माता जी और चार वर्षीय बच्चे को भी कैद कर लिया और बड़े जालिम तरीके से उनको जिंदा कोल्हू में पीस कर शहीद कर दिया । ऐसे महान और त्यागी लोग जिन्होंने धर्म की स्थापना के लिए सब कुछ वार दिया उनका इतिहास नौजवानों तक पहुंचाने के लिए श्री रामचंद्र वेलफेयर सोसाइटी द्वारा जालंधर में निशुल्क गर्म दूध की सेवा शुरू की जा रही है । सब मित्रो से निवेद
