**First Release Announcement**
Live in Adelaide '19 is hopefully going live tonight! The first in the Puffy Coat Records bootlegger series.
When we first saw the King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard bootleg series, we thought two things:
(1) How can we help local music during these tough times?
(2) We want the look of anything we do to harken back to the bootlegs of old.
What you need to know?
1) Proceeds will go to helping out independent music by supporting the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA), buying back records to send to the band, funding future similar projects & bringing some vinyl to local record stores that helped start our journey into the vinyl community.
2) The aesthetic of the sleeve will be to look like 60s and 70s bootlegs, when people were just trying to get the music pressed and out the door quickly. More images tonight.
3) We did have to cut some tracks but keep your eyes out for an exciting announcement (likely tonight) of future pressings. We will work with QRATES to master these so they sound smooth and you feel like you are at the show!
4) This will be two LPs. Both will be splatter, one is green with yellow splattering and the other is yellow with green splattering.
5) Goal will be set to 200. Please consider helping us us reach it & thus helping some good causes.
