Egyptology as a subject was invented by European scholars to distort the true history of a one-time black land called Kemet (ancient Egypt). The main purpose was to deny the involvement of black people in creating such a powerful civilization that its intellectual supercedes other cultures around the world.

Our leadership today represented us in a collaborative project with Ushirikiano Initiative at Matuga. We visited Mwachome Primary School where we had a very engaging session with the students. Mentoring young minds is one of our key missions as The Afrikan Shujaa Resource Center and today we did it passionately. The children are the future of Africa. Train them to be proud, courageous, and intelligent today and be sure of a powerful Africa as envisioned in African Union Agenda 2063.

DRC is Big.

For context, If you went by road from Nairobi to Goma via Kampala, you will have to make a return trip by the same route and you will still not have covered the distance by road from Goma to Kinsasha

FYI
Nairobi to Goma is 1253kms
Goma to Kinsasha is 2622kms

Rwanda is 26338 square kilometres in size.
DRC is 2.345million square kilometres in size.

In other words, Rwanda fits into DRC 89times.

FYI
DRC is 4times the size of Kenya.

Copied!

A man that had a very good future for DRC. Here's Patrice Lumumba (and family) the first Prime Minister of Congo. He was also one of the most important liberation heros of DRC, and a great Pan-Africanist whose name is permanently inscribed not only in the pages of history but also our hearts.

Meet Vanessa Scott, the mother who held her baby out of the window of a burning apartment so the baby could breathe during a fire outbreak.

She slid her bàby out of a fifth-floor window through the child gùard bars so that the child could breàthe and not suffocate.

Firefighters scaled a ladder to get the 7-mònth-old baby and save everyone as well.

May God bless all loving and caring mothers! Super woman!

5 popular traditional African games

Bao - this is a traditional game from East Africa, especially in Tanzania and Kenya. It is played on a wooden board with 32 small holes and seeds or stones as playing pieces. Players move the pieces in a strategic way to win.

Morabaraba - it is a game from South Africa, similar to checkers. Two players place their pieces on lines and try to form a row of three. When they make a row, they remove an opponent’s piece.

Ampe - is a jumping game popular in Ghana, mostly played by girls. Players jump and step forward at the same time. If their feet match in position, one player wins points.

Dibeke - is a fast-running game from South Africa. Two teams play, one kicking the ball and the other trying to catch or stop it. The goal is to run and score points.

Mancala (Oware) - is a famous game in West Africa. Players use a board with small holes and seeds. They pick and drop seeds in a smart way to win.
