New scheme! We'll be running this for half the schedule this year. First stop is at Richmond on April 1st.

I'm very excited to have Extra Life on board with me for this year. Extra Life is a gaming-centric charity group that works alongside Children's Miracle Network in raising money for local kid's hospitals through streamer's and gamer's fundraising efforts. If you'd like to learn more, please check out www.extra-life.org and read up on some of the amazing work they do.

I raise money for Extra Life at least once a year with a 24hr fundraising live stream (since 2013!), and I'll also be attending their Extra Life United event (digitally, of course) for the first time ever in April, competing in a Fall Guys tournament with over 200 other people. More info on that at another time.

Hope to score some good finishes with the group and raise awareness for them and Children's Miracle Network!

After some solid track time yesterday, I'm feeling good about today. Going to try to watch for any stupid penalties this time, and attempt to avoid all of the inevitable trouble. Main goal is to keep this Streamlabs truck as clean and shiny as possible.

Tomorrow at around 8:45pm, I'll be leading the field to the green flag in the FTF C-Main race. To get into the FTF tiny text 500k, I have to WIN this. Then, to get to the BIG EVENT, the Barr Visuals FTF 500, I have to WIN the tt500k. And EVERYONE else around me will be attempting to do the same.

It's going to be wild.

From NASCOM Online's Michigan 2020 race.

Sorry for the small break, I've been overly busy with plenty of other things - still am! - but I've returned to update a bit on the sim racing life. I've been pretty absent, but recently joined NASCOM as a driver in the #30 Streamlabs car for their ARCA series.

I used to race NASCOM almost 10 years ago when NASCAR Racing 2003 was still pretty prominent - when iRacing was still trying to take off. The #30 was the number I ran, filling a spot on a team ran by an old friend of mine. I'm heading back to that number, that style car and going to try again with a lot of the same drivers that still run that series.

The series runs weekly, on Saturdays at 9:00pm. The races will be broadcast on eSports Broadcasting Network (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCY6eNSLUTylj0JdTjakw-og). This week, TOMORROW, we will be running at New Hampshire, which I absolutely suck at, so it'll be worth to check in to watch me spin this gorgeous car every chance I get. 🤙🏻

This virtual #23 Edgerton Motorsports Chevrolet is hitting the track again for the 7th Round of the eNASCAR iRacing Road to Pro Series. Got some early on-track practice in today to see where I square up, and gotta say: it's sliding just as much as I'd like it to. So that's a good thing.

Race is at 9PM on June 9th, 2020 at the virtual Richmond Raceway. Livestream will be at www.twitch.tv/derekedgerton. I will hopefully not have any issues then like I did for the last race. 🤪

I needed this iRacing race today. Managed to win it live on stream, and gosh did it feel good! Got pole, led the most laps and took home the win. 🏁

On top of that, I'm close to Affiliates!! WHAT A DAY.
