Third Defacement album, 'Duality', is out now through Unorthodox Emanations / Avantgarde Music in Europe and by Total Dissonance Worship in the USA. This album is absolutely sickening and devastating. I don't think there's a better way to combine Death Metal, dissonance and anguish.

Hey! I've written a new blog about (WHY) PREPARE YOUR MASTERING FOR VINYL. During the years I've prepared hundreds of records for vinyl release and there are many good reasons there needs to be a specific mastering for this format. As a long, long time WORMED fan, I'm very proud to have put my part on this album with the editing of the drums, guitars and bass. These guys are the absolute monsters in their genre, great musicians and fantastic persons.

Congrats to Ekaitz Garmendia from BlackStorm Studios for the amazing recording work, and to Colin Marston for that jaw dropping mixing and mastering. I'm very happy that together we made this punchy and organic sound possible for a Wormed album, I think it fits them perfectly!

I'm very proud of have participated on this album after being a Defacement follower since their debut album 'Deviant' in 2019 and also bring them to perform in Madrid the last year. A meteoric rising of these guys that can only go higher with every album.

I've been proudly mastering many of the albums of J.J. (mastermind behind IKU-TURSO, KORPITULI and KHANUS, among others) during several years and seeing how he has been polishing and approaching his ideas in an increasingly masterful way throughout the years.

This time it's the turn of new KORPITULI's album 'Pohjola', which was mastered last year at The Empty Hall Studio and it's finally being released. Perfectly crafted Finnish Black Metal impregnated of the nature and folklore tales from its land.

It was an honor to have Defacement and AkoúΦenom in Madrid, as well as sharing the stage once again with my brothers from Aversio Humanitatis.

Eternal Storm's second album, 'A Giant Bound to Fall', was released last week by Transcending Obscurity Records.

I neither mixed or mastered this record, but we did spend many hours in the studio with the band recording and editing all the bass lines, guitars and vocals, as well as doing all the project preparation for Dan Swanö (who later took care of the mix and mastering process). This is a very long and heavily arranged album, so I still consider our participation on this was big and fructiferous.

If you're into melodic and progressive Death Metal then you need to check this out!
