Hey, my lionesses! My husband and I are always happy to do a couple of activities to grow our relationship. We both think it is essential to keep the lines of communication open to have a successful relationship and marriage. I have to say my husband and I are complete personality opposites, but we love that about each other. Hey, my Lionesses! Let me ask yall how difficult it is to feed your child? I feel like my son will only eat a few items! I mean, he seriously has like five favorites that he will eat consistently. I've had to become a bit creative with his meals and let me tell yall it has been a journey! Hey, my lionesses! First and foremost, I hope you all are remaining safe in such a difficult time. I pray that you are well as well as your other relatives and friends. We are currently in quarantine, well some states have lifted the stay at home order, but my family and I are still under stay at home orders, and let me tell yall I am ready for it to be over! Now I understand why we are in quarantine, and it will keep us and others safe, but yall I'm tired of cooking and cleaning and trying to keep my little one entertained. I am enjoying my family and being with them, but I wanted to make this quarantine productive for my little man. So I decided to put him on a learning schedule. It has been going great, and I plan on using it after quarantine is over! Check out this week's episode about my son's quarantine learning schedule and tell me what you think. Hey, my lionesses! Yes, It has begun Potty Training!!!! I started to notice that my baby boy was bringing us his diapers when he needed to be changed. Now he is not in the mind frame to fully understand the potty, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to introduce it to him and get him to use it.

Hey, my Lionesses! When did you start putting your child into activities? I see on my timeline all of your beautiful and brilliant kids mastering sports, instruments, and school. My son is only one, so I know a lot of activities are not for his age group, but yall he has a lot of energy! So I'm like what can we put you in to burn some of it off and to teach you a few things. While we are “quarantining” I make it a mission to keep my son on a schedule that includes his potty training, eating and learning time! Having a safe space for my son to play means a lot! Every morning when he wakes up I’ll be making breakfast and he comes in to play. Independent play shows he is comfortable to explore by himself, but also confident enough to play with others/ play in the same space!
But I swear we have to clean his space daily 🙄

I’ve been teaching my son basic sign for some of the things we do everyday (i.e eat, more, water, milk) y’all He asked me for milk doing the sign while he was eating and now when I ask him what is the sign for milk he does it! Proud mama moment.

Now it makes me think he knows more and just doesn’t want to do it because I ask 🙄

Whoooo Chile! My son looks 2 but isn’t yet obviously but me and my husband was just talking about making his crib into a toddler bed, since he absolutely hates being confined to his crib. This article says and early as two. Of course every household is different but I thought this was a cool read. Check it out!

Y’all I signed my baby up for swim lessons that will start next week! I knew I wanted him to swim because he absolutely loves water! He loves bath time, playing in water so I was like this is the first activity(sport) he is actually old enough to participate in! Plus it will teach him water safety. I know I’m more excited than he is 😂I found this article about the benefits and basic info to know for putting your child in lessons! Take a look 🥰
