The journey continues for our beloved French inhouse artist, Nicola Kubebe. He returns once again to the Fauna Reve pit with "Power Plant", an EP loaded with a bunch of funk, discordant sounds and a bit of reggae vibe 🐸

The swirl of ideas that can lodge in Kubebe's consciousness is immense, from experimental creations created with noise generators, to internal tribal chases or relaxed atmospheres.

Kubebe’s most recent collaboration is with Italian, A-Tweed, in "The Garden" EP. In the past, the Lille-born producer collaborated with Bufi on the "Bufebe" EP. Some of his productions live on labels such as Duro Label, Calypso Records, Feines Tier, Hard Fist Records.

From the likeside of Atitlan Lake, west of Guatemala City, comes to Fauna Reve Oportuno with 'La Isla'. Tired of his million-dollar Hip Hop productions, Oportuno decides to take a break, use his time to rewatch all the seasons of 'The Simpsons' and create an EP of ambient music, a place to lose yourself in the middle of the Internet, the space where the imagination melts and merges with the senses.

Lethargic beats, glitches and electronic brain atmospheres transport you from one part of the island to another, from the sharp synths that resemble the reefs and rocks where the sea blast in "The Shark", to the bips & blaps that live inside the deepest caves of the modular systems in "Anamonia". The album ends with "Bikers", a nocturnal journey through the Milky Way.

Fauna Rêve

Fauna Rêve was born in 2020, but it was actually conceived years ago. In a remote town in the Mexican jungle, a group of teenagers gathered to find new and different realities, far from the temporary. No one knew that in those long nights the germ of future and distant adventures had been planted.

It is difficult to deny that the overexposure to transforming agents such as psychedelic rock, rave culture and proto-tech-mex left an irreversible mark on the incipient personalities of our protagonists.

Time later, the label was born between dark and distorted memories of the jungle, the wildlife, the chemicals, the synthetic tones, the electric guitars and the slow sunrises, which finally did not stop feeling like an ancient deja vú.
