It’s been a little while so allow us to reintroduce ourselves!

Have you heard of Apache Creek Mustang Rescue, located in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire?

Founded by Jim and Maryann Ogden, Apache Creek is a nonprofit organization that specializes in the rescue and training of once wild American Mustangs. Every year, the United States Bureau of Land Management rounds up hundreds of wild mustangs due to the lack of resources for the herds out west.

These horses are then sent to auction. Unfortunately, due to the unique needs (and challenges) wild mustangs have they often end up in the wrong hands or are bumped from one home to the next only to end up in kill pens or abusive situations.

At Apache Creek, mustangs are given a second (or even third or fourth!) chance to become the best versions of themselves.

The Ogden family hopes to continue to help mustangs find a purpose in domestic life. Over the years, this organization has been supported financially by the Ogden family. Now with the many increases in the price of hay, shavings, and grain, every month becomes a little more difficult to take care of the rescue mustangs.

If anyone wishes to make a tax-deductible donation (or sponsor a mustang!) toward their non-profit (501c3), please send us a message!

All donations will go directly toward the care of the mustangs they’ve rescued over the years.

1966 GTO convertible with John DeLorean in the passenger seat. DeLorean was proud of the GTO, a car that GM brass said would be a flop back in 1964. The GTO was not only a success but would start what would become known as the muscle car era. The GTO was an option on the Le Mans in 1964-1965, but for 1966 it became its own separate model. Pontiac sold 96,946 1966 GTO's, by far the most popular model in the muscle car field, with industry leading Chevrolet coming in second selling just over 70,000 1966 Chevelle SS396's.
