These were the finalists for the always popular Sexiest Costume category. From right to left, sexy sailor, sexy granny, sexy school girl, and sexy Yale international student. It's the glasses she left on from being at the library earlier in the day that made her extra sexy.

A couple of blocks from Ultra Radio's studio, Grove St Cemetery, opened 1796, is the oldest cemetery in the nation designed as a “city of the dead,” with named avenues and cross streets. It's also the first burial ground in the United States to be arranged in family lots.

Bands that bring in female fans also bring in male fans of the female fans, so they tend to have a good following, like INK did.

These days its a Puerto Rican MofunGo restaurant. Ian Biggs and The Ruckus is still a great party band. UltraRadio.com Somewhere in Time - this was our Photo of the Day Oct. 20, 2011. The granite "DeLauro Family Table" monument was installed that month in New Haven Wooster Sq. It symbolizes the many times Congress Woman Rosa DeLauro and her mother, former Alderwoman Luisa DeLauro, and late father, Ted, sat around their kitchen table helping people. They saved New Haven's Historic Italian neighborhood from being destroyed during urban renewal.

UltraRadio.com Somewhere in Time - this was our Photo of the Day Oct. 19, 2012. The Anchor and Owl Shop were two of Ultra Radio's neighbors on College Street. The Owl Shop was grandfathered in as a bar where smoking is still allowed to this day. They were mostly a to***co shop that had a liquor license to sell expensive brown liquors to Yalies while they were enjoying a pipe or cigar. The power of Yale had nothing to do with them probably being the only bar in CT where people can still smoke ci******es. Virtually no one in there today is smoking an old fashioned pipe. But right outside on their deck, more modern pipes are fine to smoke items not sold there.

This year Adam Christopherson was crowned the season 3 champion of the Reality TV show Claim to Fame, where he was revealed to be Michael Bolton's nephew. Here he is performing at Ultra Radio's Acoustic Open Mic Tuesdays at Kelly's on Crown in New Haven. These days he runs his own Open Mic at Musical Intervention, just around the corner on Temple St.

Chamber of Commerce President Tony Rescigno was at most of them. Ultra Radio was a member of The Chamber for one year.

UltraRadio.com Somewhere in Time - this was our Photo of the Day Oct. 11, 2005. Ultra Radio's Todd Collins was nearly strangled by the monster at Lake Compounce's Haunted Graveyard. It was a cold and rainy Ultra Radio night and the park didn't have as many as they would on a clear night. You can see the rain in this picture. That didn't stop our crew from having a blast going somewhat alone through the Haunted Graveyard. These day they have the much more family friendly Phantom Fall Fest.

Just 10 years ago Church Street was lined with Italian Flags to celebrate Columbus Day and the Columbus Day Parade. This is along The New Haven Green and across from City Hall. Today there would be Indigenous support riots in the street. As the Antifa slogan says - Stop thinking. New history explains everything.

UltraRadio.com Somewhere in Time - this was our Photo of the Day Oct. 9, 2007. The great Mike Lasala playing at Ultra Radio's Friday Happy Hour at Viva Zapata in New Haven. New owners reopened it after Covid shutdowns as a more Yale-a flied place called Viva's Cantina. It's worth checking out if you haven't been there but it will cost about 4 times as much as when this picture was taken. Mike played it lots of our events and we played his original songs on UltraRadio.com

UltraRadio.com Somewhere in Time - this was our Photo of the Day Oct. 8, 2009. Ultra Radio's Todd Collins , in the back row, hosted our Pick 6 NFL Sunday's at Lansdowne on Crown Street in New Haven. We only did about a season and a half there before it was sold to Cask Republic. They closed for 6 months to gut the place and build a new bar so we moved half a block down the street to Kelly's. The guys in the front were cash winners that week. Frank in the middle and Chris on the right came to Pick 6 Sundays for many years.

UltraRadio.com Somewhere in Time - this was our Photo of the Day Oct.14, 2014. The late great Barefoot Bob Bittens hosted Ultra Radio's NFL Pick 6 Sundays at Anna Liffey's Irish Pub in New Haven. He's kneeling in the front with that week's cash winners. It was the place to be back then for lots of Yalies who wanted to watch their teams from back home. It was before people could stream every game to their device.
