LAZY COURSE CREATION

You have a burning passion to share your knowledge with the world.

Nothing can stop you!

You bust out your favorite word processor.

You sit and stare at a blank page.

You write a sentence or two.

You backspace.

An hour later you decide to start it another day when you get inspired again.

I FEEL YOU!

Try this:

1) OUTLINE: Go to Amazon Books and search for the top-selling books. Look for a book where you scroll over the image (on the left) and says "Look Inside". Go inside and grab the Table of Contents. That is your outline. Don't like it? Search another book.

2) CREATE YOUR NOTES: Using your new table of contents.

a) Open up your word processor. Write as much as you can on each of the items in the table of contents. Don't worry about writing a book. Just write everything that comes to mind.

b) Use an audio recorder and just ramble on about each item.

3) ORGANIZE YOUR NOTES: Edit, organize and prepare your notes, to do a presentation.

4) CREATE A PRESENTATION: Use any free tool to create your slides.

5) RECORD YOUR PRESENTATION: Use a free screen capture tool to record your video presentation. Make sure the audio is good.

6) CREATE YOUR VIDEOS: Break it down into sections that correspond with your table of contents.

7) CREATE YOUR AUDIOBOOK: Extract the audio from the video

a) If you use a Mac open Quicktime and File...Export As...Audio Only

b) If you use Windows use a free tool like VLC player. File...Convert.

c) Edit out any phrases from the video that don't work for audio like "If you look at this slide".

😎 CREATE YOUR ebook: Use a free tool to transcribe your audio to text. Use your favorite word processor to edit the transcription.

9) CREATE YOUR COVER: Search for ebook covers. Use a free tool to create the cover.

10) REMEMBER VALUE, VALUE, VALUE, VALUE, VALUE. GIVE VALUE and then get monies. You now have a video, audiobook, and ebook course. Enjoy

Are there better ways to record your video and audio and write your ebook? Absolutely, but it will take a lot more time and resources. Is this a quick way to put a low-ticket course together and give value? Yes.

3 Tips to Help you read, remember and take action Successful people are readers. They are also action takers. Remembering and taking action on what you have ...

04/03/2020

Successful people are readers. They are also action takers. Remembering and taking action on what you have read is the most challenging, and yet, the most rewarding part of reading. Remembering what you have read requires consistent effort.

28/02/2020

Successful People often give back to people and community. This ‘giving back’ doesn’t always have to be in the form of cash. It can be the time spent serving, teaching, coaching and advising others.

24/02/2020

Successful People See No Benefit in Complaining.

People love to complain. Day in and day out, people find things to complain about that happened throughout their day. It could be anything from something they saw in traffic that morning to something someone did by mistake at work.

The problem with complaining is that it puts you in a bad mood and is a waste of your time and energy that would be better spent doing other, more productive things. You’ll notice that more successful people rarely participate in drama or complaints about unimportant things.

This is because they have more pertinent things to worry about. Complaining about a bad driver you saw on your drive to work hours after it happened just isn’t worth your time.

Once something has happened, it’s over with, and if you can’t change anything about it, you certainly shouldn’t spend more time than you need to talking about it. In order for you to be much more successful, you should be focusing on the things that matter to you.

If you have work that needs to be done, focus on that. If you have a problem that’s preventing you from doing what you need to do, find solutions instead of making complaints.

If you want someone else’s help, ask them for help rather than complaining to them about it. If someone does something that gets on your nerves, calm down. Don’t act impulsively.

It’s going to go much smoother if you have the conversation with the person later in a calmer tone. Just letting someone know what they did wrong is much better than talking behind their back about it.

Not only does avoiding complaints help you communicate clearly, but it also helps you maintain a more positive mood. Learn to let things go so that you can maintain a more positive outlook. Positive outlook helps reduce stress and can help prevent depression. You need to stay focused on your goals if you want to achieve them.

You can’t let things that aren’t really relevant to you distract you all the time. Keep looking back at your plans and stick with them. You will definitely achieve your desired goal.
