Reformation day!

On 31 October 1517, the then Catholic [Augustinian] monk Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses on the door of All Saints' Church and other churches in Wittenberg, Germany. He detailed the areas he thought needed change in the church.

This singular action led to disagreements that eventually led to the Protestant movement or Reformation that later divided the church to date.

The Wārs of Reformation, which are also called the European wars of religion, began in the 16th century and ended in the 18th century. The most devastating war during the entire conflict was the Thirty Years' Wär (1618-1648), which took between 3 and 11.5 million lives.

If there is any topic African Traditional Religions should lecture all religions in, it is on religious tolerance. Our ancestors had various deities and beliefs but never fought a single war that bothered on beliefs.

Names are powerful. Some names are encoded with rich history, psychic vibration and the philosophical bent of a culture. While some names command attention.

Today, many Igbo people discard deep names that capture their rich history, the philosophical bent of their people and psychic vibration to go for flashy names that they believe command attention.

I believe the most stupid thing I have seen people do is to forgo Igbo names like Nweke, Nworie, Nwafo and Nwankwo to bear names like Sunday, Monday, Friday and Saturday.

You left your cultural days of the week that has more link to your DNA and Akashic record to answer empty names that does not represent your core psychic being.

A true Igbo initiate knows that when the going gets tough that you must use the Igbo day you were born to summon or charge your Ezumezu into providing some certain answers for you.

Your lineage forces does not understand Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. Oburo nku eji ahu Oke ka eji ahu Akpa.

Today, many Ndi Igbo jettison powerful Igbo names like Anachebe, Ofoeme, Oguejiofo, Ndukaku, Egobuilo, Okonkwo, Mgbaorie, Amaechina, Anigbogu, Nwanyieke to go for fancy but empty names or low vibrational names. Names that do not have stories, history, philosophy or vibration.

Ask yourself, what psychic vibration does your flashy name exude?
What philosophical bent of your people does your Oyibo name personify?
What history of your family does your ancestral surname you have deleted capture?

May we not mistake stupidity for wokeness!

Eliminate the confusion and Fear now !!

Ọdịnani and Christianity are as incompatible as water and oil, despite both being liquids. Certain fundamental aspects ọdịnanị can only be accessed through its unique practices and principles; attempting to combine them would be futile.
Therefore, make a choice and adhere to it.

If you are a fan or a lover of Gentleman Mike Ejeagha's folklore music, you would be abreast with the song " Mgba Enwude Akpulu"

A song depicting the societal ills of tyranny and the gallant beauty of bravery.

The story revolves around the animal kingdom, with Aneke-Otukpa (represented here as hyena ) and Nkita (the Dog) as the villian and the hero respectively.

Out of the blue, the Aneke-Otukpa (hyena) had risen to bully and torment other animals. All the while, the Dog had gone on a business trip, albeit a disappointing one and had returned home unhappy and grievous.

Now, being regaled with the acts of Aneke-Otukpa by the wife, the Dog laid by his hut in the cool of the day and observed all his wife had told him. To his chagrin and outrage, he saw how other animals cowed in fear before Aneke-Otukpa (Hyena)

The Dog braced-up that afternoon, called his wife, instructed her to take care of the children in case he fails to return home. Off he went, to challenge Aneke-Otukpa.

The Dog did not only defeat Aneke-Otukpa but, killed him in the duel.

Uwa Mgbede Ka Mma !!

I think that the legend ‘Gentleman’ Mike Ejeagha whose classic song is behind the ‘Gwo Gwo Gwo Ngwo’ social media trend may have foretold his resurgence in global consciousness, and ‘second coming’ in the hit song ‘Uwa Mgbede Ka Mma’.

Now in his twilight, with increased revenues from digital sources not available in his hey days, this may just be a classic case of a self-fulfilling prophecy.

For those who are currently at a cultural crossroad. Those who are confused if they should openly take a turn into the Odinani Boulevard and face the heavy stigmatisation that comes with such decision. Here is a little piece of philosophical advice; 'To Thine Own self, Be True'.

In Nigeria, Christianity and Islam are the two dominant religions. You are expected to belong to either of this bloc. However, if you are Igbo, you are expected to be a Christian. Nothing else.

As Onye Igbo, you are either an Igbo Catholic (First class citizen) or Igbo Anglican (Second class citizen). That's the two reasonable options you have. If you cannot be any of these. Then, you have to be Igbo Pentecostal(Third class citizen)! Any thing outside these three classes is being a new kind of Osu!

Christianity removed the old form of Osu in Ala Igbo and created a new kind of Osu. If you are not a believer and follower of Jesus, you are an Osu. If you are Igbo and not a Christian, you are an Osu. If you try to follow the religion of Igbo ancestors, you are an Osu.

For those who may not know, Osu means an outcast. One who should be avoided. One who should have limited interactions with the free, baptised and saved members of the society.

Today, we have new Ndi Osu in Ala Igbo, and they are those Igbo who refuse to accept an Israelite as their personal lord and saviour. Those who refuse that a Jew died for their sins! Those who prefer the ways of their ancestors.

Now, you can comfortably understand why many Ndi Igbo that want to go back to the ways of their ancestors are at a cultural crossroad. They do not want to become Osu by joining the ways of their ancestors. Some of them who have found themselves at this crossroad have decided to be Odinani supporters online, but offline they queue behind the majority.

Some have become secret practitioners of Odinani. They hide and visit Dibias to do one thing or the other but publicly join the majority with their Christian disposition.

Now, I have three questions for those who are at this crossroad.

Trinity: a Term adopted during the Lateran council around 2nd century because there was no clear understanding about the relationship between Jezus and "God" in their scriptural documents, thus the church elders and scholars at the Fourth Lateran Council declared that it was the Father who begets, the Son who is begotten, and the Holy Spirit who proceeds. Any other teaching aside this was tagged "HERESY" from then on, and those who taught otherwise were executed, others had to accept and live.

This decree does not have any root or connection with Igbo spiritual system, because Ọdịnanị Igbo draws practically from Nature, no concensus, everything proceeds from Nature/Life, remains same in any Igbo land.

Onye Igbo does not have any ancestral lineage with jezus or the Romans,
Onye Igbo bụ Onye Igbo!
Ọdịnala Igbo bụ ụzọ ndụ Onye Igbo!
( a way of life for every Igbo )

In the year 325, about three hundred xtian bishops and deacons from the "Roman Empire" had come to Nicea, This council of Nicaea was the first of seven ecumenical councils that helped to define xtian doctrine and beliefs. The main outcome was the Nicene Creed and the denial of A***n beliefs and affirming an orthodox view of Xhrist being of both divine and human nature, thus they developed the Nicene Creed, "I believe in One God, His son Jezuz, born of Virgin Mary, the creed is still recited in many churches today.

NB:
Everything started on a round table agreement !
No Igbo Ancestor was there, and this does not mean that Ndị Igbo doesn't have a spiritual settings or system, during this period of the Nicea council.
Igbo ancestors believed in Chi, (Personal Spirit being ) not born of any virgin, crucified nor ascended into the sky.

We are not a Roman Generation,

Catholics are easily convinced when it comes to attending "prayer houses and ministry". You will hear them say, "it's a catholic ministry, they pray rosary there, they even say mass". 😂😂
This guy really used this rosary strategy to win his deluded members who are mainly from catholic denomination.
From being a ministry to a full church that conducts Sunday services.

But the question is, why catholics too like prayer houses and ministry, even when they have chapel with "blessed sacrament" or a virgin Mary grotto, what are they looking for in prayer houses and ministry ? 🤔

Slaughtering a goat for your Ancestors when your wife put to bed as a fully bloodied Igbo man is not evil or demonic practice.
When you can't afford a goat buy native c**k and hen, use kolanut communicate them, thank the spirits of your Ancestors for the safe delivery of your baby and slaughter the chicken.
You can use it and cook anything, wether ofe nsala or yam porridge.
Everyone is eligible to eat it.

How can you increase a rent from 1.6m to 2m in space of 2yrs, and this year you increase again to 4m?

What baffles me more is that this is coming from someone who comes to preach about heaven and rapture every time!
You preach about kingdom of Christ, but there is no Christ in you, you preach about Rapture, but you are increasing rent!! You no wan go heaven? 🤔

They see people who belong to masquerade groups as waywards, sinners, fetish people, and people who can ever progress in life, but this video is one of so many evidences that successful people still belong to masquerade groups and still celebrate culture 100% , and they have never become less successful. A masquerade in many Igbo Communities brings people together, celebrating spirituality and culture, ịma mmanụ is not for a specific class in the Igbo society, it is for everyone so far it's a male child. My fellow Xtian Igbo brothers, belonging to a masquerade group is not evil, it is an Igbo thing, Mmanwụ is part of us as ndị Igbo, each community with their unique masquerade.
