So thinking back to the first time I went on a proper vacation, it was a time of mixed feelings. I was excited about the prospect of going to a luxury resort and enjoying myself for a week. But I was also nervous about traveling to Mexico having never been there before.

In reality it was one of the best experiences of my life. My fears were unfounded and the place was great and the experiences were plentiful. We took a trip to see the Mayan temples and that was really cool. And In general the food and amenities were great. I am glad that I got to experience the trip with my bestie and have been back since then. -Z

I never noticed how much I had never done, seen, tried or watched until I met Zack. But there were things that he'd never done or was not interested in that I found strange.

When you talk to your partner, are there a lot of things they have never experienced or do you think it makes them who they are today? One of the big ones was that I had never been on a sports team before... find out what that's about in this episode!

Most of my life I have not experienced. I feel a lot of regret about my past, I've realized I missed out on a lot of living- foods, experiences, popular culture...

This picture was taken as part of our engagement photo shoot but it reminds me of all the things I have yet to do.

explained big naturals to me yesterday.... I seriously have never heard that term and he seemed to know it very well 🤔

Is there anything that you've never experienced that most people have? P.S I did not shoot Zack, he would never allow that. I did "play" on another day and he abandoned because I sucked 🤣

Getting to know your partner is an adventure, and I don't think it needs to happen all at once. For sure there is important things you need to know in the beginning, such as similar interests and moral standards.

But the little things can be discovered over time and can continue to keep things interesting. An example is Christa was very sheltered and always surprises me with things she never did or learned as a child growing up. So in that way there is always something new I can learn about her. - Z

This week we dug a little deeper into who we are as a couple and all the little things in our relationship that make up the big things. This one is largely unscripted so it will be a refreshing take on who we really are and how we really communicate with each other.

For the longest time I bugged Zack with asking him a lot of questions about him, about his past, about everything. He would say we have the rest of our lives to talk 😂

I stopped asking him so much but I found that my answers came naturally through conversation. Zack is a very private person I've learned but after 10 years I'm finding out who he really is. I think letting things come up naturally can keep things interesting because I've learned a lot about Zack without having to ask. - C

I think that your first house doesn't need to be your forever home. There shouldn't be the stress of going so big right away and being house poor and struggling so early in life. The first house should just be about getting your foot in the door and building equity. -Z

This week we are discussing the process of buying our first home. 🏡 *spoiler alert* we did not get the house in the "what we want to buy" picture. 😂

I will say we were very lucky and fortunate to be able to afford a home for our family that is not the shed pictured. I was most surprised about the pricing for houses at the time and I still am. I am not very patient and I can't wait for our equity to grow so I can purchase something that we want to buy. - C

I honestly cannot understand why you would judge or dislike someone based on the way they look. I've always been fine with people at first and only change my opinion for good or bad depending on their actions - Z

In this episode we are going to have a discussion about being in an in*******al relationship.

This episode is a little shorter because this topic is hard to keep focused on one thing when this is a much larger conversation about race and culture. Please let us know if you would like to hear more about this topic or feel free to start a conversation in the comments or DM us. Ask me what kind of brown I am it's ok 😂

People always ask what my cultural background is first before anything else. It's odd to me and I find it shapes the way people see me before they get to know me as if knowing my cultural background will help understand what you don't know about me. Well, I'm pretty Canadian so no clues there lol.

In our episode this week we talk about in*******al relationships and how we view race/culture/colour. Zack says he doesn't see colour but I'm pretty sure it's because of his claimed colour blindness... please comment/DM and engage in a conversation about race/culture and your ideas. All views are welcome!

This is who we are now I guess 🐰🐰

I think with the lockdown we are more thoughtful of each other, the kids and do more small things that we wouldn't necessarily do. Since we are at home and we're not rushing off to go anywhere we do more activities that we normally would 😩 at. Things that take time to clean up, things that take a lot of setting up etc. The lockdown isn't allllll negative. Who am I to say though?

Reminiscing about when we used to travel ❤️

This picture was taken at the Ice Hotel in Quebec, the place where I fell and almost cracked my head open and where Zack lists in my bio one of his funniest memories... 😳 (see 3rd post for refresher)

We both miss traveling, but we're excited for future travels with our kids. For now it's puerta backyarda in the kiddie pool, but at least we don't need to wear a mask 😷

In our last episode, I told Zack I could go for one more baby but I’d like it to be a boy and that there was a way we could secure this- gender selection.

He informed me this was for rich people only 😂 I know this is a controversial topic- we aren’t making light of it however after having 3 girls I don’t think it’s wrong to gender select for our last babe (if). Zack thinks it’s just unaffordable.

What are your thoughts? Would you select the gender of your child if it did not cost anything or would you still if it did cost money, or simply just leave it to nature and you get what you get?

p.s still might find a way 😂🤍
