Hello January! No, I'm not confused.

Does anyone feel like January needs a do-over? February is definitely the beginning of the year for me, and I feel more motivated.

I'd usually start off with a word for the year, but this year I'm doing it differently by choosing two words for each month. The one word will always be the same, and I'll add a different word to that each month. The word I choose for the following month depends on how the previous month went. I'd then know which word is truly needed to keep me going, motivated, and focused.

My main word for each month is God, and for February I've chosen the word Focus.

Sorting the laundry is such a tedious task for me...

Having to sort the laundry and having minimal whites compared to the black and colour loads is such a pain, right? It takes up so much of my time. 🙃

With loadshedding in SA I have to get up super early or stay up late just to do the laundry, and with Colour & Dirt Collector I can throw all colours in at once, reducing wash time.

It's Gabby's Dollhouse! 😻 And a huge one at that. Standing over 60cm's tall.

Faith had this dollhouse on her birthday list and it's her birthday month, so Yay!

What a lovely way to end off women's month.

Women from all walks of life gathered and we heard stories that made me so teary eyed.

Spending the morning with such inspirational women was such a treat.

We were entertained by the hilariously funny Shimmy Isaacs Artist and serenaded by the beautiful songbird Karin Kortjie

The gorgeous Tracey Lange was on fire as always and the amazing Kyra Loubser had heads spinning with her famous makeover.

Today's the day ☺

I'm trying to get into the swing of things by choosing one day each week to create all my content for that week, and these beautiful little Notebooks from  are so convenient when I plan smaller campaigns.

I can conveniently place it in my bag when I'm out and about, and when inspiration strikes I quickly grab it and jot down an idea or two to remember. The one in the pic is named Sunshine and has a lovely quote on it saying "Do What Makes Your Soul Shine"

Why so fast?

Sometimes we just pray that time would stand still, or that it would rewind.

They really do grow up too fast.
Time really does fly by.

With Faith being 5 and nearing 6, I see how she's grown in her personality, knowledge and quirks.
The attitude is heightened, but so funny when she gets upset. ☺

I love how she loves me at random parts of each day, with words that mean so much like "I love you", "You're the best Mom ever", and then those random hugs and kisses that just melts me.
The giggles and bursts of laughter and hand hearts on the daily. 😍

We often take so much time tending to our responsibilities , that we forget our kids are also our responsibility. Let's not take those daily moments for granted. Let's not truly feel the "blink and they're grown" without memories made.

Take time...
To play
To laugh
To listen
To build

Take time...
To grow
To smile
To love

Give time to them, before time ends.
