The jury clearly felt like the prosecution presented their case beyond a reasonable doubt,and Peterson was found guilty of murder. So why over 20 years later is The Innocence Project filing motions on his behalf?
Parents everywhere should heed with caution- listen to your children. Don’t ignore their cries for help. Don’t purchase a gun for your 15-year-old (period) who claims to have mental breakdowns, hallucinations and “sees demons.”

A library in Hackensack NJ is hosting their first Drag Queen Story Hour in celebration of Pride Month. The Ridgewood Blog writes:
Hackensack NJ, Scheduled for Saturday June 10th at 10am at Johnson Public Library in Hackensack. Drag Queen Story Hour is “for children of all ages.”
Children are invited to a dynamic and engaging story and craft hour with the one and only Harmonica Sunbeam! Drag Queen Story Hour teaches children about gender diversity, promotes self-acceptance and builds empathy through stories and songs. Miss Sunbeam will lead the children through songs and stories, followed by a craft. DQSH teaches children to accept and celebrate gender diversity in themselves and others, and sets out to curb the bullying of LGBTQ children. This event will take place in the library’s auditorium. Registration is not required but is suggested for those that wish to receive an email reminder the day of.
The Roselle BOE decided to hire Austin; he grew up in the Roselle Park school system and his family was extremely well-known in the community. Unknown to the school administration, Austin, who was hired under the assumption of being male, later revealed his transgender identity as a trans-woman. However, based on Austin’s physical appearance,
including the presence of a full beard, a deep voice, and attire typically associated with male clothing, there were no discernible indications that he identified as a woman. Upon landing the job, Austin requested his students to address him as "Miss Lavender", as he preferred to be known as Lavender McCaffery. Police started receiving 911 calls around midnight. Officers entered the club and took the suspected gunman into custody.
It is unclear what the motive was behind the shooting at this time although police say they will investigate as a hate crime.
On Wednesday, the United States Senate invoked cloture for the Respect for Marriage Act (H.R. 8408). This brings the bill one step closer to becoming law.
The cloture motion was agreed to by all 50 Democratic senators as well as 12 Republican senators. Thirty-seven other Republicans voted "nay," and one member abstained from voting.
The bill originated in the House of Representatives, where it was introduced by Representative Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.). The bill passed on July 19 by a vote of 267-157. Among the 267 yeas, were 47 Republican representatives. [Read More In Bio]

At least 16 subway riders shot or injured in Brooklyn by gunman in a gas mask. According to officials, the gunman tossed a smoke canister in the train car to distract the rush hour crowd before opening fire. The shooter remained on the loose more than three hours after he opened fire on the train at the 36th Street and Fourth Avenue station in Sunset Park around 8:30 a.m. Some sources say a manhunt is still underway for the gunman.
