Cleaning walls painted with water based paint is as easy as dipping a sponge 🧽 in warm water with all purpose cleaner like bar soap 🧼 and rub off that dirt.
If symptoms persist, Make a paste of water and baking soda,use it to wipe the area.

And For oil based paint dampen sponge with vinegar and rub gently because clean walls have a way of making the home 🏘️ feel cleaner and fresher

Unless you're using a brushable product, you need a compressed air spray gun to spray lacquer. Also since the solvents are volatile, find the right spraying distance. Holding the tip of the gun too far away from the surface can cause the solvents to evaporate before the lacquer makes contact, giving the surface a grainy texture. But holding the tip too close, results in drips and sagging.
