13 years ago Farcry 2 was released.
I never played the original Farcry Instincts.
I never actually finished this game but from playing this I fell in love with the series.
Recently acquired the newest installment FarCry6 and will be playing this most of today.
What are your plans for today?

Who remembers this Classic?

Stuntman on the PS2 was awesome.

It was tediously difficult and probably resulted in costing my parents a small fortune in controllers due to frustration. But I loved it none the less.

It's sequel Stuntman: Ignition was great too but that was by a different team.

New upgrade to the laptop has just arrived from

Postage did take a while due to Brexit but thankfully I was kept up to date throughout its journey.

Small upgrade for the laptop has just arrived.
My laptop hasn't been able to keep up with my work load with being nearly 5 years old.
It's served me well and still runs all the programs I need with a little waiting time.
Hopefully this memory expansion does the trick and allows me to continue my Game Dec and Gaming on my travels

This was the first Gran Turismo I owned
I had played previous ones on the PSOne.
I remember spanking so much time trying to do the licences and constantly failed while using the steering wheel I got at the same time.

First Boss of Dark Cloud complete
Nolun Village fully restored.
Have to admit it's been a grind all day due to the lack of weapon repair powders dropping before I had all the parts to complete the Old Gaffers Store

I've decided to rerun the original Dark Cloud on PS2 while I'm working away and having to isolate for the next couple of days pending PCR tests/results.

So the Nintendo Gameboy DMG-01 is fully repaired.

I felt it didn't need cleaning as it hasn't discoloured at all considering its age.

Now time to find some old games and get it showcased next to the Gameboy Printer

✅ Resecure screen ribbon cable
☑️ Deep clean casing
☑️ Replace screen Bezel (only checked for size)
☑️ Replace battery cover

Picked this up an eBay and came in super fast time
Do I clean up the case or fit printed case and upgrade the batteries. Think I'll have to replace the screen though

Had to repair my Xbox-S Controller

Managed to get the cable that hindered my ability to play my Original Xbox only to find that the cable on my controller was broken.

Thankfully I've been able to splice an old 3rd party controller that has broken thumbsticks and get it to work again. Only without a breakaway extension any longer.

But the good news is I can start battling through some old games again.

So myself and the girlfriend have just finished watching Season 1 of Truth Seekers.

A brilliant horror comfy series created by and starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.

In ep2 they show the (fictional) website to The Portland Beacon hotel which plays the title tune of the game Mine Storm, which was included with the 1980's only vector display based home gaming system, Vectrex.

Reliving one of my favourite games of all time.
In fact this was the first game I ever purchased myself.
Who remembers Zelda Links Awakening?
The DX version was remade for the Gameboy Color and featured a bonus level only playable on the Color.
So far I've only got as far as completing the Tail Cave.

I send to spend hours in my teens playing the Conflict series on PS2.
Considering renting the collection for the Original Xbox. What do you guys think?

Sadly the studios who brought us them are now disbanded but how cool would a relaunch be?
