It's been a difficult few days for me since my little MicroDog, "Uno", died. I didn't realize how much I doted on her and always had her on my mind to make sure she was comfortable, warm, had regular potty breaks, was let out when she asked, didn't wait to be let in, and a multitude of things I would say to her every day.

She was such a small little dog and she has left a devastating hole in my life. I didn't expect this, but we saw each other thru a LOT of hurt and stressful times. We had so much fun thru the years. She was a chihuahua everyone liked, she wasn't nippy, and excitedly forced new guests to allow her to sit on their laps. She was quite the little friend.

I'm still in shock and I didn't think I would ever find myself grieving this hard for her when I knew she was in her golden years, greying, and slowing down. I guess we're never prepared.

I made this little episode for little Uno, just "one" little dog who was an enormous part of my life. She was loyal to a degree I cannot begin to explain. I mentioned her presence in my podcasts quite often, but I never gave her credit as a co-host since she never made any noise. But, she was definitely one of my biggest podcast supporters for three years.

I have chosen to recite my parts with an emphasis on my William Shatner acting skills, as well as offset our voice acting skills with my library of low-budget sound effects; while Tim preferred to use a combination of perceived-Shakesperean acting techniques, enhanced with a made-up-on-the-fly dramatic edge.

I found a fun little AI image generator online that I've been having fun playing with. It's been fun stumping the computer, but I did get one very interesting image. I typed in the description "Spritual moment with God" and got this image of hands holding a baby bird......surely this means I need to buy more baby birds for proper spiritual ascension!!!

Yesterday for Valentine's day I took my service dog, Rex, in for knee reconstruction on his left hind leg. He has ACL disease, which means the ACL tendon basically disintegrates. His right hind leg will need it by the end of the year, xrays show damage is already in progress.

Last night was long, he's doing well, and we are getting thru his physical therapy, I have to help him do everything. He's just shy of 130 lbs so we are learning to help one another for sure! Recovery is 8 weeks but his knee will be as close to a natural knee as you can get with a reconstruction and is one of the most successful reconstruction surgeries for dogs, but they did have to break it and re-assemble it with hardware. It's a long painful process, and I have to monitor him closely for the first two weeks.

I'm in this alone.
If anyone out there has a few bucks to spare to help me with the vet bills, my budget took a pretty steep hit, and will again very soon when I need to take him in for his other leg. Anything and everything is appreciated! I set him up a Ko-Fi account for donations, which doesn't take anything out of your donation for processing, Rex and I get 100% of your contributions.
