The ODM Party is respected world over as a consistent and credible party founded on the principles of social democracy, inclusion and equality. As a young man born and raised in a remote place like BAMBA, I donโt take it for granted that I have a platform to lead the party at the county level. As we continue to grow together, I am not happy at the turn of events in the last few days that has put the KILIFI ODM Office at the center of attention.
Looking around these events and bizarrely enough, the people responsible for this unpopular, dramatic and detrimental actions; who I would call merchants of dichotomy are not-so-good looking-faces who joined us yesterday but one. I appreciate those who joined us genuinely and are back to support the party, Karibuni tena. I am calling out the two or three who went to the last election with different parties, they had their candidates and now they are presumably in ODM but their actions do not reflect the face of the party. This little drama from people who suffer psychological disorders will end.
We are happy that ODM was trusted and voted overwhelmingly by very many voters of Kilifi. I would request the great party members to please support our newly elected National Party leadership, H.E the Governor, Senator, Women Rep, Members of Parliament and MCA not forgetting the Speaker who is also the party chairman.
We shall call for a county youth meeting to discuss this and many more. Keep it here.

Taita Taveta Governor H.E. Andrew Mwadime - Wakujaa, Chairperson of the Council of Governors' Water, Forestry, and Natural Resources Management Committee, attended a critical validation meeting for the 2023-27 strategic plan at the Utalii Hotel.
During his address to the Board of the National Water Harvesting & Storage Authority (NWHSA) and stakeholders, Governor Mwadime praised the Authority for its pivotal role in water harvesting, distribution, and storage across the country.
"Taita Taveta County has previously benefited from NWHSA projects, such as the Njoro Kubwa canal in Taveta, which reclaimed hundreds of acres of arable land and serves as a flood control measure," Governor Mwadime stated. He expressed satisfaction with similar impactful projects undertaken by the Authority in other counties.
Governor Mwadime emphasized the Council of Governors' support for NWHSA's efforts to address issues of water harvesting, distribution, and storage. "The Committee on Water, Forestry & Natural Resource Management fully supports efforts by NWHSA. We will continue to review current bills before the National Assembly, Senate, and county assemblies, as well as take the lead in developing national policies, adopting best practices, emerging trends, and inter-county agreements governing cross-county resources," he stated.
He also emphasized the committee's commitment to providing technical assistance in research, policy analysis, and resource development to county governments across the nation.
CPA Simon Kimaru Maina, Chairperson of the National Water, Forestry, and Natural Resources Management Authority, stated that the meeting aimed to address shared concerns, which will contribute to the strategic document that is expected to transform the water sector and various community activities nationwide.

Some weeks now since dismissal of Hon Aisha Jumwa she seems to have let go and rebranded herself for the Kilifi governor ahead of 2027 elections.
Aisha Jumwa was among the governorship aspirants in 2022 where she was position 2 through the UDA party. Aisha Jumwa was once a county women rep and a member of parliament but in all this positions she was elected through the ODM party.
Rumours has it that in the near future Aisha Jumwa might join the ODM party with the new Raila-Ruto dual between the UDA and ODM party. Remember Aisha Jumwa was dismissed from a position of cabinet secretary and weeks later the national ODM deputy leader was appointed to the cabinet by the president of Kenya William Samoei Ruto.
Kilifi county recently after her dismissal unlike earlier Aisha Jumwa is mostly available and active in the local politics. is the newest tag in town accompanied by printed T-shirts all over the county.

This comes in midst of heated debate about full scholarship fund for ward national school students. Hon Rafiki a nominated MCA by the ODM party claims that if he was in a position to,he would have dismissed both the chief officer and CECM for Finance and economic planning due to unending incompetence.
This comes a day after a lady recorded her frustrations through her tik tok handle .msemakweli claiming that some executive members in governors cabinet lack morals and ethics to run such offices. The lady through the video makes a surety that if the governor nominates some members he will be a one term governor.
