Congratulations!
I hear you're considering trying for a baby!
When you're trying to conceive, it's vital to have the talk with your partner about some of the most important aspects of parenting, such as how you’ll share childcare, working versus staying at home, and religious traditions.
In order to achieve a successful pregnancy, couples should start talking about their priorities, expectations, and fears early in the process, preferably before you get pregnant.
Team THS has compiled a list of Pregnancy Preparation checklists for you.

No matter how long you've been parenting, you've likely heard of at least a couple parenting styles. They include gentle, positive, helicopter, authoritarian... and the list goes on. Each style is thought to emphasize a different way to raise a kid.
A lot of us don't really think about "parenting styles" before having children. We just assume that our moral compass will kick in as soon as we become parents. As part of The Hue Squad's parenting series, we are going to take a look at one parenting style that will help you awaken your consciousness. It will show you that understanding your inner child is key to helping your child.
In this journey of parenting, let's be self-aware.

Experts say that offering our undivided attention is one of the most important things we can do as parents.
“Good listening is how we convey our empathy,” says Michael Nichols, Ph.D., author of The Lost Art of Listening. “It lets children know that their thoughts and feelings matter, and that they are understandable and acceptable as people.”
But real listening takes hard work, so think of it as an investment: You’ll be strengthening your kids’ self-esteem, and when your children trust you to pay attention, they’ll be more likely to confide in you when it matters most.
Plus, while you’re trying to hear them clearly, read between the lines and respond thoughtfully. You’ll also be showing your kids how to become good listeners themselves—which is one of the most important skills they’ll ever learn. In fact, experts say that this connected experience of being listened to and then listening in return might just be the key to your children’s successful careers, thriving relationships, and happy lives.
Some of the easiest situations when you can demostrate listening skills towrads your tweens is during meal times.
Maintain eye contact and be gadget free. Out of personal experience, my daughter who is 8 has put a sign on her room door for me. It says no phone because I'm distracted during bed time. That's her way of telling me she needs my undivided listening during bedtime.
Thanks to the @vivo_india commercial, it conveys the message so well.
