The power of social media, after an appeal on the Garda Southern Region page to find Ruby the springer spaniel who was stolen from her county Cork home, a woman in the UK spotted the dog for sale on a website. With some assistance from Somerset Police, Ruby was recovered and made the 500km journey via Rosslare to her family just in time for Christmas.
