The Estense Gallery in Modena, Italy, houses a unique collection of Carrara Marble Musical Instruments, dating back to the late 17th century. These marvels are attributed to the patronage of Duke Francesco II, who played a pivotal role in their acquisition. The collection showcases instruments such as the guitar crafted by Michele Antonio Grandi from Carrara. Notably, this guitar features intricate decorations on its soundboard and keyboard, adorned with black marble paste inlays depicting vegetal motifs and geometric friezes. Its origins trace back to around 1680 when it was gifted to the duke by Prince Cybo of Massa.

Perhaps one of the most incredible sculptures in the world. It was created by an unknown French sculptor in the 19th century. Stored in the Indian Museum Salar Jang.There is a well-known sculpture called "The Double Statue of Mephistopheles and Margarita". The fact is that on one side of the statue there is a male figure, and on the other - a female one. There is a large mirror behind the sculpture so that you can see both figures and appreciate the skill of the author of this unusual creation. The sculpture is created from a single piece of the oldest sycamore tree.

The Veiled Virgin is a marble sculpture depicting a bust of the veiled Virgin Mary, carved in Rome by Italian sculptor Giovanni Strazza (1818–1875). The exact date of completion of the statue is unknown, but it was probably the early 1850s.

The Veiled Virgin depicts the Virgin Mary with a veil draped over her realistically rendered facial features. With eyes closed and head bowed downward, the figure appears to be either praying peacefully or expressing grief; both are historically characteristic of depictions of the Virgin Mary.

The Veiled Virgin is made of Carrara marble, a material derived from Tuscany and historically used by ancient Roman builders and Italian Renaissance artists.
