One of the best decisions I ever made
was the day I decided to create this Instagram account.

I REMEMBER THE DAY LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY.

Before this account, I felt like I was on a Island 🏝️ in my a Insurance Agency and I knew that I could connect with my community of female entrepreneurs on a deeper level here.

Here’s how I knew it was time to start this account: I knew who I wanted my ideal client to be and I was looking to build something that gave me time and location freedom.

You see. As an insurance agency owner I was already making multi six figures but I was stuck doing something I was not passionate about anymore and serving the wrong group of people. I was dealing with customers who would call and complain about a $50 dollars increase on their car insurance.🤯😩

My dream was to serve and work with ambitious female entrepreneurs. Women like me who want more out of life, who want to be financially independent, who don’t settle, who are passionate about their goals, who are into personal development, who want to make money while being at home raising their babies.

This is why I started the community 5 years ago.

I am passionate about helping you build a community of people on Instagram around something you love to do or you’re skilled at and turning it into a six figure stream of income by serving that community.

One thing that stops many of us is having to show up on camera.

Just 4 years ago I knew nothing about Instagram or how to make money online. You see I have owned and operated a brick and mortar Insurance and Financial Services Agency for the last 8 years. (This online space was all new to me.)

Yes, hashtags still work in 2022.👇🏼

Often, the tried and true methods work best, and this is super true of hashtags. Although hashtags aren’t the only thing you need to grow an audience, they DEFINITELY help you reach new people and increase your impressions. We get 10-20% more impressions on our posts when we use 30 hashtags regardless of what the gurus say.

Take it from me. I’ve grown my audience from a few hundred to multiple one hundred thousand in a couple of short years. I’ve tested my theories to find the best hashtag strategies that I’ve used to grow.
Hashtags are powerful when used correctly because they:

✨Help the Instagram algorithm know what our post is about
✨Make our Instagram easily searchable
✨Ensure that your posts show up in the right places.

But not all hashtags are created equal. That’s why I’ve included some of my best hashtag strategies in our Ultimate Instagram Blueprint.

✅ Do this instead:
Show up and create content for the community of people who are already following you.

🚫Letting Imposter Syndrome hold you back.
Don’t shy away from being the pro. You don't need to know everything to be an expert. You just need to be a few steps ahead to teach what you know.

✅ Do this instead:
Show what you know by sharing valued based content.

🚫Not setting actionable goals.
A goal without a plan is a dream. Make sure you’re creating goals for yourself that will help create massive growth in your life.

✅ Do this instead:
Break down your goals quarterly, monthly and daily. Create a content calendar that you will follow and track your progress. Keep doing what is working.

🚫Avoiding showing up.
If you’re not showing up in your stories, posting reels and short video content you will end up reaching less people.
✅ Do this instead:
Share behind the scenes in your stories, mini trainings, ask questions. Create educational reels, you dont have to show your face to make viral reels that are entertaining, educational and inspiring. Check out some examples on our feed.
🚫Non-niche content.
It’s ok to post a family picture in stories here and there, but in your Instagram feed, your content should be attracting your targeted audience.

✅ Do this instead:
Don’t confuse your audience (and the algorithm) with random content.

For me it's important to provide my followers with something of value that can really help them get to the next step and in return, I grow my email list on a daily basis. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

5. Add a website or link: ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
Use this space wisely. Instagram only lets you add one link on your bio so make sure it's the link to your website or current offer. The goal is to get them to go to your website and purchase your product/service or sign up for your email list. ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Drop your questions in the comments👇🏼⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

Follow the .academy Here are 9 reasons why your hashtag strategy is not working and you are not growing every time you post 👇🏼🤦🏻‍♀️⁣⁣

1. You are using the same hashtags on every single post. ⁣⁣
It's important that you create 5-7 different groups of hashtags so that you have a set for every type of content you post and you are rotating your hashtags. I also recommend reviewing your hashtags at least once a month so you can replace the ones that no longer are serving you. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
2. You have a private Instagram account ⁣⁣
By having a private account your posts will not show up in connection to the Hashtags you use or the explorer page. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
3. Using unrelated Hashtags⁣⁣
If you are using hashtags that don't relate to the content you are sharing your tags will not work. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
4. You are using Hashtags that are too broad or too large⁣⁣
If you are using hashtags that are too large your posts will get buried with the thousands of posts per minute and never be seen.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
5. Your content is not captivating and is not providing any value ⁣⁣
If you want your hashtags to work and convert new visitors into followers you need to make sure your content is great. Your hashtags won't work if your content is not great and consequently you will not see any growth. Focus on creating high value content in combination with these strategies and only then will the magic happen. ⁣⁣

6. You are using banned hashtags. ⁣⁣

7. Not doing your research to find the right hashtags for your business and audience.⁣⁣
