Fans of DC comics intend to pursue the development of the Cinematic Universe in the form in which it was represented by Zack Snyder. For this reason, a new campaign has started on the network under the motto RestoreTheSnyderVerse, which has already been supported by a number of Justice League members.

In particular, the performer of the role of Cyborg Ray Fisher, who was in conflict with the leadership of the Warner Bros. studio, said on his Twitter page that the desire of fans is the law, and what he considers canon, canon, is. The same point of view was shared by Ray Porter, who embodied the image of Darkseid on the screen.

Earlier it became known that the miniseries "Justice League of Zach Snyder", which streaming service HBO Max plans to present to viewers in March 2021, will become a dead-end branch of the MCU development, which does not imply influence on the plots of future film adaptations.

In the moments immediately following the Big Bang, the very first gravitational waves rang out. The product of quantum fluctuations in the new soup of primordial matter, these earliest ripples through the fabric of space-time were quickly amplified by inflationary processes that drove the universe to explosively expand.

Primordial gravitational waves, produced nearly 13.8 billion years ago, still echo through the universe today. But they are drowned out by the crackle of gravitational waves produced by more recent events, such as colliding black holes and neutron stars.

Now a team led by an MIT graduate student has developed a method to tease out the very faint signals of primordial ripples from gravitational-wave data. Their results will be published this week in Physical Review Letters.

Gravitational waves are being detected on an almost daily basis by LIGO and other gravitational-wave detectors, but primordial gravitational signals are several orders of magnitude fainter than what these detectors can register. It's expected that the next generation of detectors will be sensitive enough to pick up these earliest ripples.

The Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe (Kavli IPMU) is home to many interdisciplinary projects which benefit from the synergy of a wide range of expertise available at the institute. One such project is the study of black holes that could have formed in the early universe, before stars and galaxies were born.

Such primordial black holes (PBHs) could account for all or part of dark matter, be responsible for some of the observed gravitational waves signals, and seed supermassive black holes found in the center of our Galaxy and other galaxies. They could also play a role in the synthesis of heavy elements when they collide with neutron stars and destroy them, releasing neutron-rich material. In particular, there is an exciting possibility that the mysterious dark matter, which accounts for most of the matter in the universe, is composed of primordial black holes. The 2020 Nobel Prize in physics was awarded to a theorist, Roger Penrose, and two astronomers, Reinhard Genzel and Andrea Ghez, for their discoveries that confirmed the existence of black holes. Since black holes are known to exist in nature, they make a very appealing candidate for dark matter.

The up-and-coming movies that make up the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be one of the last hopes for a global box office recovery in the near future. This opinion was expressed by the famous Hollywood actor Tom Hanks in an interview with Collider correspondents.

"My News from All Around the World" could be the last project in which people just talk about interesting things that will still come out on the big screens. After that, to get viewers back to cinemas, we need to have a Marvel Cinematic Universe and similar franchises, "he commented.

Tom Hanks is confident that the rental will survive the current crisis. "Will cinemas be in demand in the future? Certainly there will be. I believe that as soon as all the halls are reopened, they will, in a sense, receive freedom of choice in defining their repertoire. Naturally, large-scale film projects will rule the score," he added.

The ratings for the DC comic adaptation Wonder Woman 2: 1984 continue to decline dramatically. The largest aggregator of professional reviews, Rotten Tomatoes, deprived the project of the "fresh" certificate, as its rating among film critics dropped to 65 percent, and the viewer rating - to 73 percent.

According to the latter indicator, the picture has already yielded to such adaptations as "Aquaman" and "Man of Steel", and also significantly lagged behind the first part.

Recall that in the homeland the sequel was launched simultaneously at the box office and streaming HBO Max, the latter's subscribers faced technical difficulties while watching, as reported on social networks. When it comes to cinemas, Warner Bros. continues to hide the real numbers.

The streaming service HBO Max has set a personal record for mobile app downloads since the superhero sequel Wonder Woman 2: 1984 was released. Research firm Apptopia estimates that 554,000 users signed up for the app over the Christmas weekend, including a record 244,000 downloads on Sunday alone.

According to Apptopia, the total number of HBO Max users is now just over 12 million. That said, the Disney + streaming service app was installed over 2.3 million times in the same period, up 28 percent from the previous weekend. Experts believe that this was in no small part due to the release of Pixar's animated film Soul, which was released at the same time as Wonder Woman 2. It is noted that at the time of summing up the results of the holiday weekend, Disney + had about 87 million subscribers worldwide.

Recall that WarnerMedia announced that in 2021 all film projects will be simultaneously presented at the box office and streaming HBO Max. Disney + is committed to a more flexible policy.
