He had some close calls on our recent travel day and I'm just glad he's paying attention to the other drivers so he can do what he can to avoid anything serious.
Here are a couple of tips for getting back over safely after passing:
1. make sure there's at least enough space for 3 vehicles OR you can count to 3 AFTER your vehicle clears the front of the vehicle you're passing and use your blinker

We cannot recommend a fifth wheel hitch stabilizer enough! When we went on a short trip a month ago, we decided to leave it behind and that was a mistake. 🤦🏻♀️
Who knew that this would be an essential item for our setup! When we have it setup, we notice hardly any movement. The moment we remove it and you're walking around and someone is laying in bed... ALL. THE. MOVEMENT. Or if the washer is spinning out... ALL. THE. MOVEMENT. 😵💫
Setting up and taking it down is also very easy and doesn't take long!

We like to flush our black tank each time we dump and for the longest time, that was working for us and our sensors would read correctly. Recently, after we would dump and flush, the sensor would read either 2/3 full or full. 💩
That's when we decided we needed to give Unique Camping + Marine's Restore-It a try and clean our sensors!
The process is simple:
💩 dump your black tank & then flush it to remove anything that got left behind
💩 dump your tank once more and fill it back up
💩 give the Restore-It bottle a good shake & dump 16oz or half the bottle into the toilet & flush
💩 let the tank sit for at least 12 hours
💩 dump your black tank and flush it a couple more times to finish
💩 check your sensors to see if they were restored
We let the tank sit for about 24 hours before continuing the process. Unique Camping + Marine suggests 12-72 hours and no amount of time is too long!

One year ago we drove away from our home in Illinois one last time and one year ago tomorrow we closed on it. 🥹
I just remembering being so emotional after taking the last video and once I got into the car to drive away, I looked over in the passenger seat and he had buckled in my garden cow statue and that made me smile. 🥹🐮
And in the second clip, you'll see our neighbor stopped mowing and sat there as we drove away. He was good to us... I mean he saw me at my worst one day but that's a story for another day. 😅
There are days I miss that little house. It was our first house that we owned and put a lot of our own touches on it. ❤️

After being stationary for about 5 months, we had our first move day a couple of weeks ago! 🥳
This was the first time we towed our new home on wheels fully loaded so before we arrived at the RV resort, we went to the nearest CAT Scale to see where we were at in weight. Turns out we are 600lbs over weight, so we have some dieting to do. 😉
We love everything this RV resort has to offer and are so happy to be on a level, concrete pad. So level that our auto leveling system said we were level right off the bat, no adjustments necessary! 😅
