Kentucky Universal Elite Miss

Winning my first state pageant title with Universal Miss felt like coming home. At 35, I’ve experienced so much that has shaped who I am today. I know my strengths and what I have to offer, and Universal Miss allows each of us to compete as our truest, best selves.

Our state director, Paige, has been with us every step of the way. If there’s ever a question, she’s right there to help. In fact, our Kentucky Universal Miss queens and Paige chat every day in our group chat!

Competing in the Elite Division at nationals introduced me to so many inspiring women. We still keep in touch on Facebook, and the support within this community is amazing.

My title as Kentucky Universal Elite Miss has also given me a platform to share my passion project, “SPF is your BFF,” which promotes sun protection and skin cancer awareness. I’ve organized a sunscreen drive, spoken about sun safety at local elementary schools, volunteered at a free skin cancer screening clinic, and am currently developing this into a nonprofit.

Universal Miss Kentucky Pr***en 🌟

Lydia’s pageant journey began at age 10 when she decided to compete in the Kentucky County Fair pageants. She won her second pageant and had an unforgettable experience at the State Fair. She said, “Momma, I want to do them all!”—and I knew she was hooked.

Since then, Lydia has continued to compete in county fair pageants, a few festival pageants, and, her favorite system of all…Universal Miss! This system has brought out a true confidence and grace in her, allowing her inner light to shine. The support here is incredible—pageant moms cheering each other’s girls on, helping with food runs, or giving pep talks. I’ve never seen a system that feels more like family, and we’re so proud to be a part of it.

In June, Lydia attended UM Nationals in Orlando, Florida, bringing home 3rd runner-up at her first-ever national pageant. She displayed poise, grace, and a beauty that shines from within. She was already talking about how excited she was for next year’s nationals before we even made it home!

Lydia can’t wait to crown this year’s Miss Universal Kentucky Pr***en and watch her experience the same magic she’s enjoyed this year. She’s already thrilled to return to Nationals, catch up with last year’s friends, support her new queen, and make even more friendships.

If you’re looking for an incredible director, an exciting prize package, and a fantastic experience, Universal Miss is second to none! Our Kentucky director, Paige, is hands-on—she hosts Zoom calls, adds you to a Facebook group for questions and connections, and makes sure you have everything you need. Kentucky Universal Mini 🌟

Eden began her remarkable journey just over a year ago. We started pageantry to make new friends and give back to our community. After competing locally, we decided to branch out with the Universal Miss system, and winning the Kentucky Universal Miss title marked the beginning of an extraordinary adventure.

With grace and love, Eden proudly represented her beautiful state of Kentucky at nationals. She was thrilled to bring home 1st Alternate in her very first national pageant, supported by her parents, coach, and family. At nationals, everyone made us feel right at home—one of the many things we love about Universal Miss. There’s no competition against others, only the drive to be your best self— ! We truly cherish our UM family.

Always remember: it takes a dream to get started, desire to keep going, and determination to finish! Eden will continue to embrace her journey—a little girl from Kentucky with big dreams, a love for Jesus, wrestling, and a heart for giving to others.

Get to Know Your Reigning queen!
The Universal Teen 🌟

Coming off my reign as a former national titleholder in another system with a non-compete, I had no idea what God had planned for my next pageant journey. Through the world of marketing, I discovered Universal Miss on Facebook ads. I watched those ads for months before finally deciding to register for regionals in March.

Two months before regionals, I took the leap and signed up, diving into prep with my amazing coach, but more like a sister, Maira Montgomery. With her guidance, I captured the Teen title for Kentucky. Along the way, I developed a strong connection with my sister queens, whom I adore, and with my director, Paige, who supported me every step of the way.

On the second day of Universal Miss Nationals, I told my mom that, no matter the outcome, I wanted to come back to Universal Miss. That’s when you know you’ve found your pageant home. At the end of the week, I was crowned the 2024 Universal Teen. Since then, I’ve dedicated my reign to promoting this system that I truly believe in, and I can’t wait to see both familiar and new faces on the Universal Miss stage at East South Central Regionals on February 8-9 in Danville, KY.

Universal Miss Bluegrass State 🌟

Khloe’s pageant journey began in February 2022. At just 7 years old, she decided to compete in a local Valentine’s pageant, where she achieved the second-highest score across all contestants and earned the Mega Elite Supreme title. From that moment, she was hooked! She loved everything about pageants—new friends, fashion, music, and the excitement of the stage.

After a few years in local systems, we decided to branch out. When we heard about Universal Miss, everything sounded amazing, and the feedback was outstanding. Universal Miss was Khloe’s first experience with a major pageant system, and it exceeded every expectation. Khloe competed and proudly earned the title of Young Miss Bluegrass State at UM’s first East South Central Regional.

From Regionals to Nationals in Orlando, Florida, we’ve loved every moment. We’ve built lifelong friendships and gained not just friends, but a family—Universal Miss is truly second to none. We were treated like royalty and couldn’t imagine a better system for Khloe. This year’s reign has been a joy for our family, and we look forward to what the next year holds as we continue on this journey with UM.

We love our director, Paige, and the National directors, who stay connected and supportive, even outside of pageants. Universal Miss has truly made Khloe’s dreams come true. I never imagined that first pageant would lead her here. Khloe now radiates confidence and poise, knowing that with hard work, anything is possible.

“Embrace You” isn’t just a motto at Universal Miss—it’s a reality. Khloe embraces her uniqueness and all the qualities that make her special. 💕👑

Kentucky Universal Miss Baby 🌟

Emiah began her pageant journey at just 8 months old. We were inspired to try pageants because everyone kept telling me how beautiful she was. After researching, I felt that natural pageants were the right fit for us. I learned the terminology, attended a few pageants beforehand, and prepared for her first entry by taking her photos, choosing her outfits, and managing everything on our own.

Fun fact: In her first pageant, she placed last, but in her second, she scored the highest overall—even outscoring adults! Emiah has a natural love for the stage, and Universal Miss has helped her shine even brighter.

Universal Miss is such a wonderful system, and Kentucky Universal Miss has truly become a second family for us! I genuinely enjoy all the sisterhood aspects—the opportunities to serve and have fun together. I love how Emiah’s sister queens come together in times of need and celebration. Everyone is so supportive! At the national level, the staff adored Emiah and practically adopted her as their little bestie. This system is perfect for anyone who hasn’t had great experiences in other pageants; UM is night and day compared to others. We’re so excited to continue in Season 5!
