Before I say a word, this riff sucks, I don't need to be told that. But it was the first thing I ever wrote on guitar so of course it did. Back at like 13 or 14 slapping the strings haphazardly barely a clue. My head full of Against Me! And Pantera and Jimi Hendrix. This was what made me feel like... oh I might not be famous but I'm a musician too, I could do that too. I was good at it too, and I'm trying to find that again. With today's current atmosphere, music is even more important, because I agree with Jimi, if real changes are going to happen, if peace is going to happen, it will happen through music.
But you know... sometimes you find someone that means more than any song, and you gotta balance things.
