What are some of the must-haves in your kitchen? For me, that would be breakfast spreads! They are convenient, simple to put together and most importantly tasty - all I need to do would be to spread some of the breakfast spreads, such as jam or olive spreads (my alternative to butter) on toasts, and I am all set to conquer the day!
I brought the Fruit Spread and Olive Spread recently from NTUC Fairprice and used them to prep some meals!
🌟 Harvest Fields Strawberry or Blueberry Spread ($4.50 each)
I do not know about you, but I am a classic Peanut Butter and Jam (“PB & J”) sandwich fangirl! Not only that, I love it more when the peanut butter and jam is spread thickly, with the jam slightly thicker than the peanut butter since I have a sweet-tooth!
I used the Strawberry Spread to prep myself a PB & J sandwich to satisfy my growling tummy. As I bite into the sandwich, I could taste the thick fruit spread, as well as the strawberry chunks in it. The Strawberry Spread is not overtly sweet, with a slight refreshing tanginess to it! I also like how there is no sugar, artificial preservatives, colourings, and flavourings added to the fruit spread.

Other than spreading the olive spread on toast, another way which I would use it would be as an alternative to cooking oil. I am loving the fried rice that I cooked using the olive spread!
I like that the Olive Spread contains premium olive oil and is plant based, dairy-free and suitable for vegans. It is also cholesterol and trans-fat free and is a good source for Vitamin A and D.
