We spent 3 days with a Maasai Family in their “Manyata”, cooking together and sharing culture and precious moments together…
So grateful for these moment with Jack, his lovely wife Jacqueline and their 4 kids ❤️

As Jack says : “We are not Muzungu but All Africans” 😁🥰

PS : Carrying the water tank on the head is really hard 😳😅

MAASAI TRIBE :
One of the famous tribes of Africa, the nomadic and pastoralist Maasai people are a Nilotic ethnic group inhabiting selected but large parts of northern, central and southern Kenya and across the border in northern Tanzania as well. The Maasai are in part the better known ethnic people in East Africa due to their traditional origins from areas surrounding Masai Mara Game Reserve and Amboseli near the Tanzania border.

For Jambo, this is his first time on the northern hemisphere 🥹🤩… Our globetrotter puppy🐶

✨VOLUNTEERING EXPERIENCE 🇺🇬

We spent a few days in a village called Kishanda south Uganda 🇺🇬, and we had the chance to give some Math lessons to the little kids, who were excited to receive us and we were happy to exchange our knowledge and experiences…

Teaching is quite a challenge !

A DREAM COMES TRUE 🦍🤩

We’ve been waiting for this moment since the beginning of our journey, and here we are ! We did it and we loved it ❤️
After 3h of hiking in the deep tropical forest, we spent quite some time contemplating the majesty of Gorillas, a Male Silver back, 3 females, 1 Juvenile male and 2 cute babies 🥹
A once in a life experience worth it all !

✨THE MAGIC OF DRONES 🪄

Funny story, we were about to lose the drone in this beautiful crater lake, the battery was low and we couldn’t find it in the sky, and the kids saw it (30sec trying to show it to us 😅) and helped us bring it back 🙏🏼

We were dreaming of the beautiful beaches of Mozambique before even starting this trip…
And here we are finally after 14 months on the road 🙏🏼

We can’t wait to explore the east coast of our beloved continent 🌍💕

ESWATINI 🇸🇿

We left South Africa, one of the biggest and most hectic countries in Africa, and arrived to this small, peaceful and beautiful country called Eswatini.

We didn’t know much about this country, apart from being a Monarchy like Morocco. And we were amazingly suprised by its rich culture, gorgeous mountainous landscapes and most importantly lovely and welcoming people called “Swazi”.

Here are some pictures of there traditional dances, clothes and old huts.

Stuck in the mud under the rain ✔️

It was a pretty stressful hour we went though this morning, but we got N’HILA up Alhamdoullillah 🙏🏼

The feeling once out is priceless 💪

JAMBO’S FIRST HIKE 🐶🤩

It was the first time for Jambo to walk this long into the mountains for hours, he loooved it even though he got really tired by the end 🥰

And Eswatini is just beautiful ! The landscapes are just breathtaking, even when tired we couldn’t get enough 👌🏽

JAMBO IS 3 MONTHS OLD 🎊

It’s been more than a month that Jambo is a part of the family now, and it’s been amazing 🐶🥰

One of the reasons we spent one more month in South Africa is for Jambo to be 3 months and get vaccinated for rabies 💉

Now we can get back on the road again soon and continue the adventure all 3 of us inchaallah ♥️

It’s been 2 months since we arrived to South Africa🇿🇦, DEFINITELY more than what we expected for a country we were scared of 😅

This is the beauty of this journey… you just let things be the way they come to you and enjoy every moment of it 💕

TWO HAPPY AND TIRED TRAVELLERS 😄

It’s not easy to travel with a puppy, we have to stop every now and then for Jambo to drink, p*e or 💩😅

However, we are very lucky because he let us know whenever he needs to go out, and that is awesome 🙏🏼🤩

He’s a 8 weeks border collies named JAMBO.
He spent his first night in N’HILA, not easy but we are getting to know each other, and we’re already in love 🥰

We’ve changed our mind about visiting South Africa more than once, scared of the high number of potential crimes in the country…
We’ve finally decided to go, and not miss the city that everyone talks about along the way : Cape Town 🤩

Surrounded by both oceans (Indian and Atlantic) and a lot of mountains, the sceneries are just breathtaking 😍

It’s 💯 our favorite city until now !!

Nous vous présentons notre modèle 3D du futur aménagement intérieur de N’hila. Il contient un espace « cuisine » avec glacière, lavabo et rangements cuisine. Étant donné qu’il fera beau presque tout le temps en Afrique, nous comptons cuisiner et manger à l’extérieur, et dormir sur la tente sur toit la plupart du temps.
