The Secret Sauce 🤭 • I like to say I “changed my porosity” but I really just brought it back to normal. Low porosity hair is really common but a lot of the times it has to do with how you wash and what you use to style. What I did ⬇️ ✨ I learned the correct amount of product to use based on how heavy the product is on my hair. The more product = more buildup. ✨I wash my hair every 7-10 days; when I use heavy products or don’t wash I ALWAYS clarify then follow up with a moisturizing shampoo to give myself a fresh start. ✨I stick to using mousse, gels and lightweight creams. I use different combinations of these products to give my hair moisture and hold depending on the style. ✨Optional but helpful, I try to use clean ingredient products, for my hair, using the @yuka_app to see what ingredients are in the product and how they may affect my body. ⁉️ P.S: To my surprise coloring my hair did not change my porosity.
