Episode 43 | Fboys vs Nice Guys

We are back and get extra messy as we discuss the subject of f*ck boys vs. nice guys.

Azar and Mar watched the reality TV show called F Boy Island. They were so excited they made Nesha watch it too. The result is a hilarious podcast review of the show and a candid conversation about each of our histories with f boys and nice guys.

To kick things off, Nesha explains the premise of F Boy Island and some of the flaws she found with the show compared to other dating and marriage-themed reality TV shows she loves. We talk about our shared dislike of Garrett plus the return of cast members, like Peter, in Season 2. Nesha asks if the ladies have ever dated an f boy and reveals she had an f girl phase, which leads to Azar and Mar reviewing their own relationships with f boys and f girl tendencies. Finally, the we review Urban Dictionary's definition of an f boy, Mar shows appreciation for New Jarred, and Azar asks the ladies if they've ever slid into a man's DMs.

Tell us your thoughts about the show if you've watched it (if you haven't Mar & Azar strongly suggest you do!🤣)

Get ready for a wild, music-themed game edition episode of Messy Truths hosted by Azar. This week, we played Lyrically Correct , a black-owned, 90s and 2000s hip-hop and R&B trivia game that brought out the fiercest competition from all participants.

We were joined by very special guest singer, songwriter and producer, August Rigo , who is the magic behind the biggest names in music today (e.g. BTS, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Kehlani, and One Direction).

This was a crazy episode! Nesha joined the podcast from London and she might have been just a tad drunk. Mar got a little hostile and cray, cray. And August showed everyone why he is a triple threat in the music industry.
