MS Word Hack
Working on your first draft, you may want to use placeholder text for layout purposes. You are probably familiar with the lorem ipsum placeholder text people use in such cases.
But did you know that MS Word has a built-in function to quickly and easily add as much placeholder text as needed?
Type either:
=rand(P,L) for randomly-generated text,
or,
=lorem(P,L) for lorem ipsum text.
Replace P with the number of paragraphs you need and L with the number of lines per paragraph.
So, =rand(3,5) will give you three paragraphs of random text, five lines per paragraph.
