I had this dilemma a few days ago.
I've always wanted to build something big for my career. But I never had the chance to even get to the first step.
It was frustrating.
I looked deeper into what was stopping me.
Then I realized that all these delays were because I put my daughter first in EVERY. LITTLE. THING. in every little decision.
And that's not BAD. In fact, I think I've made the right decisions.
And you know what? Screw it. Not gonna change a thing.
So if you're in the same purgatory as I am, here's what we can do next. (Yes, let's )
🙌 Break down the first step into tiny doable steps instead.
🙌 Be a bit kinder to ourselves.
🙌 Celebrate the right decisions we've made.
🙌 Do it alone. Do it scared. Do it now.
🙌 Make the most out of every day.
Let's start with that.

I know that...
because I'm in the journey of creating a better version of me.
And what I learned is... growth is painful and messy. As it should be.
There are days when you just want to call it quits and go back to what feels 'comfortable'. Trust me, those days are most likely the turning point.
If you don't give up on those days, you'd come out stronger and a little bit wiser than the day before them. 🤎
Commit to making yourself better.
Less of the unhealthy habits, more of the good ones. 🙌

I had a tough day today. 😵💫
Categorically, it felt like a supertyphoon of emotions hitting me from all angles, all at once.
If you know a mama, check on her. The mental load that modern moms face is just too much to bear.

Just finished cleaning up and realized that I've exhausted myself over some things that we don't always use. 🥲
If I were to single out those stuff, I would have saved an hour of my time and used it for something more important instead.
So the next time you're tempted to splurge on something you found in a thrift store or a fancy online shop, decide if you're willing to give it some of your time and headspace.
Remember my newfound mantra: "The less you own, the less that owns you."

Essential oil is a love language ♡
Took a sniff from my bottle of Lavender today to help me calm my nerves. Working from home has its ups and downs and today, my 'downs' won and manifested on my physical well-being. Surprisingly, my tiny bottle made a HUGE difference. I was able to pull through a Zoom meeting even when I felt a bit physically drained.

We're so back for the BER months 🤎
Guys, I'm really sorry for being MIA (missing in action) here over the past few weeks. I had to attend to A LOT of things 'behind the scenes'. International logistics had been very slow too because of global issues and the looming pandemic, so I had to hit a pause on re-stocking new oils.
