There still is a place for old fashioned ol school metal today, even though the focus is on unclean grunting vocals in the more intense hardcore version. Heroine Sentinel is grouped into a new wave of traditional metal. As of this Tuesday, Local Loft will no longer be streaming on Spotify. You still be able to stream and download on podbean.com, The Podbean app and Amazon Music. Sorry about this news, but I'm not going to continue to share my extensive look around the Chicagoland area's original metal, punk, alternative rock and power pop scene with a service who makes it difficult, even impossible to promote so many local bands and artists music because of confusing infringement crap policies.
The band and artists I interview and those who want to be on upcoming episodes, you can email me mp3s or other digital files to me at timlamp1com or [email protected]. What I do with the music scene is completely honest and with a lot of hard work. Something these corporate cronies at Spotify will never appreciate.
