NIGERIA POLICE FORCE SENT A PUBLIC NOTICE TO ALL POLITICAL PARTIES IN BONNY TO ATTEND A PEACE CONFERENCE AND SIGNING OF COMMUNIQUE
The Nigeria police force Bonny headquarters division Bonny LGA call for peace talks with all Political Parties present in the LGA to discuss the way forward for a peaceful election and how to go about the process so parties and Candidates will not breaking the laws of the 2022 electroral guidelines.
Speaking the DCO of Bonny police command advice the political parties, candidates and party members including agents to decease from coursing any form of violence and chaos while conducting their campaign rally and party rallies here in Bonny LGA.
He further when on to sound a warning to all parties if anyone decided to go against the law such persons will face the full wrath of the law and would not be left out.
The peace meeting was a success as all political party who were present assent to work together peaceful with one mindset that the election will be free and fair elections.
Highlights of the meeting...
A communique was read out to all parties, steps and guildline to be noted before and during and after the elections are over. This communique was given to all parties chairman and their Candidates to sign and agree to a terms, if any party valuate the agreement such persons or party will have the law to be contended with therefore ensuring that there must be peace at all time.
Political Parties present at the peace conference are:
1. APC - All Progressive Congress
2. PDP - People Democratic Party
3. SDP - Social Democratic Party
4. LP - Labour Party
5. NRM - National Rescue Movement
6. A - Accord
The Social Democratic Party SDP Bonny was fully present to be part of the peace meeting heard at the Bonny divisional police headquarters Bonny LGA.
