Mountains are high so you rise up to overcome them, learn, grow, to gain, and feel the achievement. Mountains are like the challenges that come up in our life.
People often don’t understand what it what is.
What would living life by your own design look like to you?
For me, it’s deciding and controlling how my precious time on this earth and in this life is spent.
Time, health, wellness, joy, purpose, and the people in our life are the ultimate wealth.
Write that down.
After years of struggling as multiple autoimmune disease and neuromuscular disease warrior I left my corporate job as a medical device designer and took my freelance company full-time. I took control over my work, my projects, my clients, gave more to myself, and started thriving —fulfilling my purpose more than ever by expanding my services and giving more to those who needed me.
If you’ve been following me, you know an horrific accident has hindered my reach this last year and going on 2, but I’ve been able to work on healing, my autoimmune and neuromuscular diseases went into remission, and I’ve been doing much soul work. Not only for myself, but by guiding and connecting with others who need support of any kind. This has kept me going and filling my purpose, just as it has filled my heart.
The accident had a huge ripple effect as you know: surgery, complications, permanent damage, and uncertainty. It would be all to easy to give up, but my life purpose is higher than just myself as so many suffer as I have and do. So I’ll continue to shine through the pain, strengthen my vision, and offer that chance to live the miracle of life despite the pain, to help lift the burden and to help clear the cloudy days. Trust me, the light is available even on the dark days.
I have the best team in the nation. I haven’t spoken much on the many trips I’ve made to the Mayo Clinic and the specialists here over the last few months as the plan moving forward is uncertain and ever-changing, but I will provide some updates as soon as I can.
🖤In the meantime, tell me, how would you design your life?
