Celebration Day Who Will You Celebrate?

encourages us to celebrate the lives of those who came before us, including admirable historical figures who shaped the world around us.

Through our annual School Writing Competition with , participants wrote stories around courage, and many of the submissions focused on the brave actions of people in history.

Winner of the 11 – 13 category, Isabella from Invicta Grammar School, did just this with her entry on and the courage it took for her to refuse to give a white passenger her seat.
