Hey everyone! It's been....a while. Sorry about the lack of episodes and communication. Life has been hectic lately, like...REALLY hectic. And we do miss recording episodes, but until things settle (at some point we hope), it's just not in the cards.

Until then though, we will shamelessly plug this: Amanda wrote a book! It's got pirates! Check it out, buy a copy or share with a friend who likes books. Amanda highly appreciates it.

There is a section in Columbus, just north of the OSU campus that doesn't belong. Deep ravines, rushing creeks, rocky outcrops, things you'd see in Hocking Hills, not the middle of the city. This section is home to a few different places of legend; The Gates of Hell (aka: The Blood Bowl) and Walhalla Rd. Just under 2 miles from each other, these 2 places have more in common than you'd think. But what does Glen Echo Park have to do with any of it? And why do we talk about a murder in 1918 in the University District? Take a listen and find out! **(Mini) Content warning. We don't go into anything super graphic/descriptive like in previous episodes, but this one is full to the brim with depressing stories of murder and suicides and death and occult.

An hour north of Columbus, right in the middle of Ohio's heartland, rests one of the country's most infamous buildings.

Ohio State Reformatory... OSR... Mansfield Reformatory... its a place of many names. The Mansfield Reformatory was open for less than 100 years, but it's impact on the little community surrounding it has lasted much longer. Five years after it was abandoned, and demolition started, it was spared from it's fate by a newly formed non profit organization. This haunted reformatory was once a place for hope, but now is the premiere destination for ghost hunters, tattoo and music enthusiasts, and haunted house lovers everywhere.
