The Department of Social Welfare and Development(DSWD) Region XI, through KALAHI CIDSS spearheaded by the Regional Program Management Team Technical Unit, conducts its three-day Technical Session for Technical Facilitators held on October 17-19, 2022, at Malagos Garden Resort, Davao City.
The recently concluded activity aimed to intensify technical staff capabilities in the investigation of the stability, strength, and rigidity of structures. Also, the core of the training is to provide technical inputs to technical staff on preparing technical documents. Team building, on the other hand, helps the team strengthen existing relationships and cohesiveness, build team rapport, and improve team communication effectiveness.
HIGHLIGHTS of activities were the training in 3D Structural Design and Analysis for Reinforced Concrete Building. STAAD Pro, ETABS, and ASDIP Foundation were the software used to automate and simulate the analysis of structures. In addition, the training also showcased 3D Rendering using SKETCH UP and ENSCAPE to the participants.
DSWD XI fully supports the event, headed by Promotive Services Division Chief, Elizabeth T. Degorio, Regional Program Coordinator, Lani E. Cudino, Engr. Aillyn M. Arrobio, Project Development Officer IV, and Engr. Denny Luz F. Fabia, Regional Procurement Officer.
