We stand in solidarity with the black community. A group of people is being oppressed and marginalized systematically in our country. We looked on in disbelief as the police in Hong Kong suppressed its people and we called those protestors heroes and freedom fighters and now it is no different from the protests happening not only in the U.S. but around the world.
This isn't just about George Floyd's murder, but the unjust deaths of Breonna Taylor, Freddie Gray, Tamir Rice, Michael Brown, Eric Garner, Akai Gurley, Philando Castile, Alton Sterling, Walter Scott, Sandra Bland, Oscar Grant, and countless innocent lives that were taken due to police brutality and systematic racism. This isn't about just getting justice, but a demand for reform and change. A change in a system that allows police officers to unleash their hostility and violence against the community without any accountability. A system that maintains institutionalized racism without accountability.
Here are organizations that we stand by. We encourage you to donate but to also research each organization for yourself to see where you want your dollar to work towards.

Campaign Zero has a police violence mapping tool as well as a police scoreboard tool that allows anyone to research how their police departments handle themselves. It shows how many cases are against minorities versus the racial make-up of the population. Currently, the tool only works in California, but they are currently working to expand it to the entire United States.
