Our first ever GEEKs Thanksgiving Night 2023 where we held a Secret Santa for all those present and everyone who wanted to be involved from our Whatsapp Group chats.

The atmosphere of sharing and thanksgiving brought everyone together and everyone walked away with a gift.

Special thanks to the crew at who helped us with heating up the turkey and sausages and as special invitees because they allow our events at their restaurant every last Sat of the month.

From me, the founder of GEEKs Meetup, Mark Pereira to everyone who has attended our events, who have joined our group chats, who will attend our events someday, thank you for your presence and I hope you build lasting friendships through indulging in the pop culture we enjoy together.

17 June, Sat - Geeks enjoyed like-minded company and watched The Flash together after a whole day of running around comic shops in Katong! We ran so much, we forgot to take pics at the comic shops!!

Yesterday, Geeks young and younger from all over Singapore celebrated the Day of The Man of Tomorrow - Superman Day 2023 at Gigi Gourmet Deli and in collaboration with InkInk Collectibles .

We had so much fun with Action! Activities! Quizzes! For everyone and kids alike and gave out prizes for the triumphants over naming the actresses who played every Lois Lane! - harder than defeating Lex Luthor. And other activities!

We came in geeky Superman/DC tees (one Harley cosplay in our midst), gave away comics as door gifts, those who bought comics received a complimentary A3 poster designed for the event, we enjoyed the company and made new friends. Accompanied with the great selection of beer, wine and amazing food from Gigi's!

Cheers to Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster for the creation of the first Superhero to begin all Super fandom and to DC for continuing the legacy of Superman in every form of media to inspire courage, truth and justice - that greatness begins with from the strength within, with great love, care and the most humble of upbringings.

Lookin' so good as the Geeks of the Galaxy caught Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 last Sunday.

The best movie we've seen in Marvel Phase 4 and 5 since Spider-Man: No Way Home.

1) Pirate Treasure's Lunch (One Piece) at Daijoubusg
2) Slayers Haven Saturday (Demon Slayer) at Gyu Nami

With activities to bond like-minded anime fans like Be a Poser - posing competition and Switch game like Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles.

Scarfff publishes indie comic creators works in a paper and distributes it for free to comic shops and stands etc.

Our meeting was surreal to her because she was hoping to bump into someone who would be interested in Scarfff and spread the word to comic readers in Singapore! As fate would have it, she found me, a proud organiser of Geeks United SG. She unloaded the stack of papers (with the Arny caricature) in my hands and it is my pleasure and mission to distribute this amazing piece of initiative to comic readers like you.

On 12 November 2022, we had the privilege of having a Q&A session with Andie Tong, the artist of Green Lantern: Alliance in a joint collaboration with InkInk Collectibles

Some questions he answered were:
- What were your inspirations drawing a Vietnamese Green Lantern?
- How important is Asian representation to you?
- How did you land on this job?
- Have your kids read your comics?
- What was your student life like before you started your career as an artist?
