A rogue rocket stage is on its way to oblivion Friday (March 4), bound for an unintentional crash into the moon. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has put its emergency centre in full 24/7 response mode after a fire broke out at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear facility early on Friday morning as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine entered the ninth day. Data from blockchain-analysis firms show that Russian denominated crypto purchasing and trading on major exchanges have faltered, debunking theories that the country will pivot to digital assets to circumvent sanctions. A Texas man was arrested after his now ex-girlfriend identified him to the FBI as allegedly being at the US Capitol on 6 January. Geoffrey Shough, 37, is facing civil disorder charges for allegedly joining the crowd of rioters that overwhelmed police officers and forcibly entered the US Capitol building.
