We are ecstatic to announce that author Shawn Krinke has signed with Wolford Press to bring his debut novel, Seven, to the world. Imagine a mashup of The Hunger Games and Blade Runner for YA readers, filled with action, suspense, characters you’ll love, and characters you’ll loathe.

For our first official post, we want to say happy holidays to everyone!
Hello my friends! I’m sorry it’s been so long since I posted anything. I’ve been incredibly busy. One of the things keeping me busy is Wolford Press, the publishing company my husband and I started last year. We have exciting things going on that I want to share with you. So, I’ve decided to change the name of this page from my name to our company’s name and give the page a broader focus to share more of what I’m excited about. Thank you so much for all of your support!!
True story: It’s hard for me to write dark fiction when I’m feeling so bright and happy. Thank you for your patience, I swear I will get these books out! 😘
Finally had a creative breakthrough this morning after a few weeks of research (which my cat found to be a little disturbing.)
I think I’ve got the right guy looking over my shoulder as I get back into writing mode. Now I just need to lock myself in my office for the rest of the cold, long winter. “SIX” is mapped out and ready to come to life… which gives me nightmares.
Did you know you can pick up Sins of the Father from any Barnes & Noble? If they don't have it in stock, they can order it for you, or you can order it online here:
A scientist on the verge of a breakthrough, a child in danger, and a buried secret that'll ruin lives... Physicist Dr. Jackson Cole is on the cusp of proving the infinite abilities of the mind. The only way to verify his theory requires... sacrifices. A doctor before him killed...
Now that the holidays are over, it's time to get back to work. I was awake half the night thinking about my next book: 6. This one is much darker and more sinister. I can't wait to share it with you!
❤️ Some book signing pictures from last week’s conference.
It’s always amazing to get to talk with readers and hear their thoughts. And, my favorite local radio celebrity came by ❤️.

It's spooky season! I'll be out at the Fargo Antiques & Repurposed Market today at 2 for a book signing. Come by and see what the Akashic Realm has for you. 😄
I just had so much fun on 3 Beards Podcast! We talk about what went into my book, my work as an ag broadcaster, my husband (who joins us!) and movies that scared us as kids.
See you Saturday!
Two local authors of dark fiction - starring, apparently, some very bad men - will be at The Farm this Saturday, October 22, at 2PM. The Farm welcomes Sabrina Halvorson & thewriter_dwthomas - come get your scare on!

It’s official. I have a narrator for the audiobook of Sins of the Father. I didn’t have to work too hard to convince him 😉. He may even give a sneak peak tomorrow during the book launch.
