Only 3 more sleeps until Christmas and we couldn’t be more ready for a few days of relaxation, time with family, eating lots yummy food and opening a few bottles of champagne here and there! 🍾✨

Christmas is sledging round the corner and fast! On Wednesday we wrapped our final photoshoot of 2024 with our Editor-in-Chief, .clare and of course we had to incorporate Winter styling! ❄️✨🤍

The superbly talented Amelia Hart from drove 3 hours up to North Yorkshire and to our location at the breathtaking Georgian Home for a full day’s shoot - and we so had much Christmassy fun! From popping champagne to lighting the open fireplace, the team were feeling extra festive 🎄🕯️🍾🪵

‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a garment was stirring, not even a blouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with flair, in hopes that Femme Country’s issue soon would be there.

The readers were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of runways danced in their heads. With silk scarves and sequins, and rural couture dreams, they slumbered in style, or so it would seem.

When out on the lawn, there arose such a clatter, I sprang from my closet to see what was the matter. Away to the window I flew in my Regina’s, careful on my toes like a beautiful dancing ballerina.

The moon on the breast of the fresh-fallen snow, gave the luster of glitter to objects below. When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a sleigh full of issues - Winter’s premiere!

With a chic lady on board, in a dress with a ruffle hem, I knew in a moment is much be Miss Femme. More rapid than the Post Office, her team they came, and she whistled, and shouted, and called them by name:

Now Cooper! Now Fairfax! Now Maude and Fox! On Haggas! On Joules! On Shuttle and Socks! To the top of the page, to the front cover’s glow, strike a pose, take the shot, now off we all go!’

If you’d have told me 6 years ago when we began that Femme Country Magazine would be hosting a club event at I probably would have laughed… but last weekend it happened! 🤍🍸🪩

We were joined by over 120 of you at Raffles Chelsea on 8th November including brands, Subscribers, clients, friends, cover ladies and followers to celebrate the most successful year Femme Country has had.

It’s one thing to see your covers in people’s hands, but to see them blown up as artwork around the walls of a club surrounded by people dancing, letting their hair down and having the best night was something myself and the team will never forget!

Thank you to each and every one of you who joined us that evening and also to those who have supported Femme Country, no matter how you’ve been involved you’ve been the reason that this publication has flourished and we can’t thank you enough for that! 🗞️🤍🥹

The year isn’t out yet, as we have our Winter Issue coming your way and for those yet to receive their Autumn Issue that is coming this week too! In the meantime, planning had started for our 2025 events and issues and we can’t wait to share more soon! 🤭

Our renowned runway continues to grow year upon year, but this October we found ourselves amidst a show like no other and managing an event that would see over one hundred faces grace the front row to see some country style’s newest collections for A/W24. From backstage laughter, to hard working rehearsals and pre-show excitement, we’re delighted to give you a glimpse into our iconic fashion show through the eyes of our photographers and 📸🎞️✨

Megan Nicholls is a lady conquering in the world of equestrian and style. Known for her succession in the saddle and her recognition in horse racing media, Megan is a prominent female figure, and her journey is nothing short of inspiring. Many of you may know Megan for her articulate and engaging presenting style on some may recognise her as the jockey who rode Knappers Hill to victory in the Grade Two bumper at Aintree in 2021, and others will know Megan from her commitment to fashion and the partnerships she holds with some of Britain’s most renowned rural fashion labels.

We’re delighted to welcome Megan to our Autumn Cover for 2024 as she chats with Editor-in-Chief, .clare about life growing with her Father, Paul Nicholls, how she has carved her own path in horse racing, and her steps to becoming a recognised, and adored, presenter for ITV Racing.

This edition is a celebration of the rich hues, cosy textures, and stylish layers that define Autumn fashion and the lifestyle the season brings. What a week we’ve had at Femme Country… we’re not lying when we say we’ve not stopped and we can’t wait to fill you in on everything. Plus read on until the end and we might just reveal the official date for the Runway Show! 🤭🤍⚡️

Starting strong on Tuesday 10th we shot the cover at for our upcoming Autumn 2024 Issue, which is launching the first week in October, with a lady who is making her own path in her sport, but for now we’re keeping it under wraps!

Wednesday we attended the most quaint PR event with .pr for the run up to Trials. The work and determination that goes into the mapping and course planning of this event is incredible, and it was wonderful to hear about the heritage and family history of too!

Thursday saw us head down to London for the preview of luxury and practical rural clothing label A/W collection. Hosted with we were honoured to join the brand for dinner as their product manager, guided us through the beautiful new pieces.

And finally, as pictured above, Friday saw the Femme Country team partner with for the introduction and launch of their business name and fashion initiative. Located at the divine we brought together a diverse array of brands, guests and media to showcase host a collective day of country engagement.

Amidst all of these events, we’ve been working together to plan for our renowned country runway event and my is it looking the most exciting! However, get your calendars out as we can finally reveal to you our official date, so drum roll please 🥁 … Saturday 19th October will see ‘The Country Muse Runway’ return for 2024 in York!

Tickets will be available this week so keep an eye out for on your emails and of course socials for news on them going live, as we anticipate they won’t be online for long! We can’t wait to share all the information with you for the runway, but in the meantime we better get back to planning! 🤍🖊️🗒️💡

Style and country events… let’s talk!

The intersection of fashion and country pursuits grows by the day. Not only are brands being recognised for creating beautiful collections, but they play a significant role in reinforcing unity and promoting the existence of rural sports and the incredible individuals who perform inside them.

Recently rural events and their relationship with fashion have taken a hit with the term ‘fashion parade’ being used to describe their set up. There’s definitely a debate in this topic, however we want to express our view at Femme Country as a publication who began promoting style for women in the country sector.

For all women who take part in rural sports, whether this be shooting, fishing, eventing, falconry, beating, hiking … we feel style and their choice of garments have played a crucial role in instilling confidence in them to dominate in sports - which have previously been noted as male-focused. Behind-the-scenes brands are mirroring this in their collection designs, giving women, and men, the opportunity to feel incredible and create a presence with their skills on and off the field.

Whilst events at the start weren’t set on prioritising style, we’ve seen the industry grow in many ways with shows like creating a retail aisle,
promoting the functional and safety elements with equestrian fashion brands, and this year we saw host a fashion show with to highlight the importance of backing our wool sector.

The synergy we see combines expressiveness of personal style with the dynamism of the country sector and whilst there’s certainly more things we can all do to reinforce our way of country life, why should we take away how confident and hqppy people feel in their own style whether at a show, on a day’s shoot or simply walking their dog!
