Wow! Look at Ricki-Lee back in year 12!

Not long after this photo she'd be producing multiple hit songs and a certified gold studio album! Well done Ricki👏

Can you tell what this nurse is transporting in the canvas trolley? 🤔

This photo was captured at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in the 1940s. 😱

Face masks are off! 🥳

We'd like to extend a huge thank you to all Queenslanders for staying safe and wearing a mask over the past few months.

You can now take your mask off in most settings. 🤗

To protect those most vulnerable, masks will still be required in healthcare settings, disability and aged care facilities, prisons, on planes and when riding public transport. We also strongly recommend you wear one whenever you can't social distance.

Along with mask restrictions easing, limits on people in homes and venues have changed.

Anyone needing to avoid a life-threatening situation like flooding should leave COVID-19 isolation or quarantine without hesitation. ✔️

Your first choice should always be to seek shelter with family and friends, whose properties are in safe locations.

If this isn't an option, you're welcome at an evacuation centre. Plans are in place at these locations to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission.

If you are leaving COVID-19 isolation or quarantine to attend an evacuation centre, please wear a mask and notify emergency staff upon arrival. 😷

It's important to minimise the risk of spreading COVID-19, but never at the expense of your own safety.

13,622 PCR test cases and 6,087 Rapid Antigen Test cases.

649 people are receiving hospital care for COVID-19, and 46 of those are in ICU care. Sadly, we have reported six deaths in the past 24 hours.

In the past 24 hours, 42,707 PCR tests were taken. As at 13 January, 91.48% of people aged 16 years and over have had their first vaccine dose and 88.51% are fully vaccinated.
