MAKE A CUP OF COFFEE by Peter Williams

Caffine is very important in getting you going in the morning and contains many rare nutrients which you can't get anywhere else.

You will need: A kettle, A cup, A spoon, Water, Coffee powder, Milk, Sugar

1. Boil the water

2. Put the coffee powder in the cup

3. Pour in the boiling water

4. Add the sugar - Don't put the milk in first, as the sugar melts better in the boiling water.

5. Add the milk and stir

The perfect cuppa

Making a perfect cup of tea should be considered the default first step in every method.

You will need: A kettle, 300ml filtered soft water, 30g tea (ideally loose leaf), A small teapot, A mug (preferably porcelain), A tea strainer, 30ml milk (semi skimmed)

1. Boil water - Many people - most of them in the US - mistakenly believe that you can make tea with hot water. You cannot. The water must be heated to a rolling boil!

2. Brew the tea - Put the tea leaves (or bag) into the teapot and add the boiling water. Leave it to steep for between 4 and 7 minutes.

3. Get ready... - Pour the milk into the mug. Always milk first! Place the tea strainer over the mug.

4. Serve
