Capitolina O. Legaspi Memorial High School participates in the Simultaneous Tree Planting joined by selected teachers and students.

COLMHS generated and planted 5 Narra Tree seedlings from CENRO, and 10 Mahogany Tree seedlings from students' donation.

Anti Vote Buying at Vote Selling Campaign, matagumpay na isinagawa sa COLMHS

Para sa isang makasaysayang hakbang tungo sa malinis at maayos na eleksyon, isinagawa ang isang kampanya laban sa 'vote buying' o kontra bigay sa pangunguna ni Atty. Frosta M. Deuda sa paaralan ng Capitolina O. Legaspi Memorial High School noong Oktubre 25, 2023.

Ang nasabing kampanya ay naglalayong edukahin at kamtin ang suporta ng mga mag-aaral para hindi maging bahagi ng ilegal na gawain na maaring makasira sa integridad ng halalan lalo na sa mga mag-aaral na boboto sa unang pagkakataon upang maging matalinong botante para sa nalalapit na barangay eleksyon.

Tinalakay din ni Atty. Frosta M. Deuda ang mga gawaing maaring magdala ng kapahamakan sa mga botante katulad ng pagtanggap ng kahit anong bagay na may halaga galing sa mga kandidato.

Natapos ang kampanya laban sa vote buying o kontra bigay sa paaralan ng COLMHS na matiwasay. Lubos na iginagalak ng mga mag-aaral na nagkaroon ng kampanya ukol dito upang sila ay magabayan sa pagboto ng karapat dapat.Ang nasabing kampanya ay isang mahalagang hakbang para sa mas malinis, makatarungan, at makabuluhang eleksyon.

COLMHS conducts School-Based Press Conference

With the aim of selecting campus journalists, Capitolina O. Legaspi Memorial High School (COLMHS) initiated a School-Based Press Conference held on October 19, 2023 at COLMHS quadrangle.

This year's theme was "Empowering Voices, Building Resilience: Matatag Campus Journalism for Tomorrow's Leaders."

The School-Based Press conference was a journalism competition for every grade level.

Representatives from every grade level competed in the following categories: news writing, editorial writing, sports writing, column writing, editorial cartooning, science and technology writing, copyreading and headline writing, and photojournalism for both english and filipino medium.

The program served as a try-out as well as it aimed to select new campus jounalist qualifiers for the upcoming Division Schools Press Conference.

Furthermore, the winners will be the ones who will represent in the upcoming DSPC.
