Radio Boskant Episode 132 - 14-Apr-2024. The no.1 Post-Punk channel of The Netherlands

A while ago we announced that Radio Boskant would be 2 weekly, but suddenly there is really a landslide of new, fresh and great songs in the post-punk+ genre. So after 2 already great episodes in the last 2 weeks we are back for another packed ride.
This time with a special start, a cover of Duran Duran by Canadian New Wavers Boyfriends and girlfriends"., followed by a cover of Duran Duran itself of The Specials and then a special of a cover of Green Day by Steve Welsh sounding like The Smashing Pumpkins. From there the usual dark wave, postpunk, dark dance tracks followed by the more noisy part. All fully verified by Radio Boskant himself.

Radio Boskant Episode 131 - 07-Apr-2024. The no.1 Post-Punk channel of The Netherlands

Spring is also the birth of many new releases. So, 6 days after a very nice Easter episode, another Radio Boskant that is unbeatable. From the first danceable and accessible by ACTORS to the extreme noisy hardcorepunk of BAD BREEDING, from English to German to Dutch, from dark synthpop to acid to postrock, it is all there. And normally we do not pick out a single track, but the last single from GIRLS IN SYNTHESIS is a real highlight. Best song of the year so far, enjoy the nice weather and Radio Boskant.

Radio Boskant Episode 129 - 17-Mar-2024. The no.1 Post-Punk channel of The Netherlands

And another fresh episode of Radio Boskant. As my regular listeners (if there are any, haha) might have noticed, the frequency is now more every 2 weeks than every week. Is it because less good music is being released, or is Radio Boskant itself becoming more critical? Let's keep it a mixture of the 2. Nevertheless, this episode (129 already) is full of the best new stuff in postpunk and more noise guitar exercises. To start with our Danish friends The Foreign Resort have released a very nice danceable track, followed by some more danceable moody dark tunes, including a new release from IST IST, to make your day perfect. If you make it to the end, be warned of intense emotional guitar noise. Another worthwile fact, lot of local dutch bands this time (THAMES, SØWT, To Adelaide, library card, Synop).
