Rocket Arena - no bullets, only rockets

The task is further complicated by the fact that all the weapons in the game are rocketguns stylized for each hero. The projectile flies at different speeds and along different trajectories and does not hit the enemy immediately, so you have to shoot in advance. Sometimes this leads to funny situations when opponents, being a couple of meters apart, cannot hit each other for several tens of seconds.

Cursed old "Doom": what happened to the second addition to DOOM Eternal

Much of this duality is due to a change in direction. After DOOM (2016), the developers wanted to tighten up the concept of combat chess (how the shooter works, we painted in detail earlier). However, the changes were so radical that the players were divided into two camps. It is impossible to say which one is more. But the fact is that not everyone liked the experiments related to gameplay, plot and storytelling. Too complex, too colorful, too strained. Everything is a bit too much. And this is in an era when studios rarely experiment, so that, God forbid, the player does not howl from difficulties. The authors of DOOM Eternal spat on this.

NEO: The World Ends With You is one of those action-RPGs that cause great joy in the first hours just because they look like a real holiday (and now sometimes there is a lack of a holiday). Set in present-day Shibuya, a fashionable district of Tokyo, the main characters are teenagers who need to survive in a mysterious, otherworldly Game. Their world is full of bright signs, typical Tokyo eateries, catchy graffiti, and exotic enemies that look like colorful jellyfish, penguins, or tyrannosaurs. Instead of armor, fighters have fashionable clothes, instead of weapons, there is a whole collection of fashionable badges that you have to collect during the game.
