As Bar Convent Brooklyn collides with the kickoff of the World Cup, three of the East Coast’s only cachaça-focused cocktail bars come together for a one-night-only celebration of Brazilian spirit culture.

The teams from CANA (Washington, DC) and Ember & Alma (MA) join forces at Berimbau 3 W. 36th second floor bar for a night of signature cachaça cocktails, Brazilian vinyl, dancing, and surprises throughout the evening.

DJ Late4Dinner will be spinning an all-vinyl Brazilian set — from samba and MPB to deep cuts built for the dance floor.

Cashew (the fruit not the nut) is one of my favorite flavors in the whole world. And this cocktail, the Caju Amigo, Is pretty popular in Brazil and there's so many different variations on how to make it, but I wanted to adapt one from my friends over at and I'm pretty proud of how this one came out!

2 oz Amburana Cachaça
1 oz Cashew Shrub
0.5 oz Orgeat
0.75oz Pineapple Juice
0.5 oz Lime Juice
